I just completed episode 1. I thought it was very good, though I didn't get all the gems (I'll probably do that tomorrow).

The gems are only for getting extra HP as you go through the Episodes. You won't get anything for collecting them all (except in Episode 2 which you will get a Skill Point from).

Well I gave up on getting all the gems as I couldn't find it in the space level (where was it anyways) and moved on to episode 2. However, I'm stuck on the eighth level, the one where the snakes bite Nobody and make him evil. The part where there is a column of white locks right before the first checkpoint. How do you get past there?

You can actually press enter in that level to switch to Nobody where you'll find him in a locked room with the gem above some spikes.

The Walrus Chef will drop a white key when you defeat him. Once getting a key, it will open locks of the same color when you go near them.

I'm stuck on two places because I'm awesome like that.
Episode 2: At the beginning of the level after IKooky 2.0 and 3.0, how do you make the last jump beyond the gates?
Episode 4: The second part of random rooms, after a plank there's a room which Nobody can't get into but MyNameIsKooky can. There is a soundmaker, but it is above all the sound blocks.

I should have gotten proof. *sigh* But then I'd have to do it again. It just takes timing. 2.0 was the hardest part.

Yay! Just completed Episode 2!

I found it odd that the statistics said that there were 23 gems total in the episode. Were there more than gem in a level, because I didn't notice? Anyways, I've decided I'm going to play through all 5 episodes normally, then go back and do an all-gems run of the episodes.

Okay, beat episode 2.
Now my question on episode 4, accompanied with a screenshot. It's on the random rooms section after the Giant Muscular Mutant Smasher Sock, (or whatever it's called: It's really glitchy.) and the army of evil versions of the characters.

Go up at the leftmost edge of the platform of the Noisemaker. Shoot a teleport cursor and run down to the sound blocks, then teleport.
As for the Episode 2 gem count thing, I think it's probably a glitch. A lot of my old games are very glitchy.

BUMP! After a long break, I just finished episode 3!

For the gem count, this time it said there were only 15 gems total. Were there levels that didn't have gems in them, or is it glitching again?

I think some levels didn't have gems if I remember correctly.

Episode 4 is done!

And I got all of the gems too!

I'll do Episode 5 tomorrow.

If you mean the Mutant Shoe, that's perfectly accessible.

Well I completed the first two levels of episode 5, but the first one was LONG! And the 3rd level has a time of 30 minutes!

This episode is gonn a take a long time to beat!

Well, I've decided that I'm going to start the all-gem run now and quit episode 5 for now. I missed one of the gems so I would have to restart it anyways.

There's no point in getting all of the gems aside from the extra HP.

...and bragging rights, just like there is no other point in repeatedly replaying Mr. Volcano 5.0 when you only got hit once by the 2.0 section other than HP and bragging rights. I'm stuck on the giant robot rematch. *sigh* Is it just me, or did you make this much harder relative to what you've gained in SPP and projectiles. I wish there were more levels with two characters on the boss.
Posted: Sat Aug 20, 2011 5:36 pm
by MyNameIsKooky
Yes, I made it harder. IIRC, the robot unleashes Evil Underground instead of Metacubes and the robot opens it's hatch for a much shorter time. It has more HP, too.

by Master Wonder Mage
Ah, the less hatch time and more HP was what I was sensing. The EUs were probably just making up for my improvements.

BUT I'M A COMPLETIONIST!
Anyways, I was able to get all of the gems in episode 1!

However, looking back, this episode isn't as good as the others. The lack of many superpowers and game elements make the episode drag a bit. It's still alright though.
@MasterWonderMage: The robot boss is pretty tricky. What my strategy is is everytime the boss shoots a round of projectiles from you, stand close to the robot, then run to the left, repeat. When it shoots an evil underground, use your superpowers. If it latches on to you shoot left as the evil underground is always a bit left of you when you take damage from it. When you finally defeat the evil underground, start shooting into the robot's hatch until it closes. Repeat this strategy until it is defeated. It is a tricky boss, so it may take a few tries.

For the projectiles I run to the left before shooting begins, jump, time it so it starts shooting when I'm in the air, wait until I fall back down to the ground, then run towards the robot.
