Here is a cursor glitch! It happens after you exit a dialog. I once played a level that, when you start it, you win (the star was on the starting tile) and when it went back to the adv selecting screen, there was a medium sized brown cursor half way to the lower-left corner of the screen!

Brown?

The cursor glitch happens in quite a lot of cases. For example, it happens in "Thwart the Thwarts" (yes, I've been playing the original WA) when you need to quickly freeze the thwart and then make a bridge (with the Brr magic). The cursor goes sideways.
Also, when you direct a wee stinker to a location and then quickly click somewhere else, the cursor starts growing, turning brown, and spinning. It gives quite a shock at the time. It haunts me in a specific adventure (in the old WA).
Sometimes the cursor appears at the level selection screen in the WA Editor. That really is weird.

Here's another (Its in WA and the editor): When you click on a Wee Stinker and just let go, you don't move it, instead, your player moves where the WS is! It gets quite frustrating when you change your mind.

It's already been said, but the fact that clicking south of the bottom of the level (bottom black area) makes it crash desperately needs fixing, specifically for people like me who have extremely jerky mouses (as in it'll go where I'm not directing it sometimes, like down on the black area while I'm working on an important part of the level)

I keep getting MAV's all the time on the starting screen when trying to select a level! Even when I put them into categories it still can't handle them. And I don't want to delete any of them. (Obviously)
I have never gotten a MAV on RTW custom level screen or any of the WA games themselves, so why is this happening now with the WA Editor thing?
I've actually had this problem ever since the release of v0.95, it's just really starting to annoy me now cuz I've just got back into custom adventure playing and making.
I hope this will be fixed soon!
EDIT: lol I posted this same bug on page 1 of this topic... shows how much I want it fixed

EDIT2: Oh, if this information helps... it has never lagged on the v0.80 Player

Trying to increase an area's size to more than 101 gives an "Index array out of bounds" error.

You can give gates a subcolor more than four.

That could be useful

EDIT: O yea it would mess up the deal with the IDs and Colour value thing

The isn't exactly only with the editor, but there's a bug with colour changers:
Circular colour changers don't work right. When you step off them, everything stays the same.
Found a bug in the level editor? This is the spot to post them.
(again, I can't guarantee fixes with the editor, but certainly will try)
This thread will be edited from time to time, with confirmed bugs listed in the first post (with solutions, if they exist), and incorrect bug listings (i.e. things that are not bugs) removed.
Try opening up the player again. That tends to work for me. If it doesn't work, then you'll have to manually move some of the adventures you downloaded to another folder. The editor can't handle too many adventures at the same place for some reason.

Thats what I did. Then I got sooo many adventures that my computer froze and I had to back-up the adventures I wanted and reinstalled the editor because the keyboard stopped working again!

Ok now good

This isn't a bug, just something you missed.
In the Editor, when you click on a Adventure, and hit delete, the v096 changes to v095!

It changes back whenever you exit out of the Delete? Yes, No, screen.

This bug is really silly but:
In the v0.96 player, when you archive an adventure and you can type in a new archive folder name, it won't let me type in a capital Z. Lowercase z is ok though.

I wonder if we could make a level about that "load game-don't move" glitch.

Emerald141 wrote:And another thing: In the same adventure, I save right before starting the sub-adventure "Black Chomper Battle," which has crimson magic in it. After I lose the sub-adventure, I load and find my gloves in the corner, still with a red color, even though in that round I never charged. Experimentally I fire the crimson spellball- only it's not crimson, it's white with a distinct trail of white stars behind it. Not only that, but the charge number goes
UP.
I try the entire scenario again, and it comes out the same way.
What's going on???

This is, in fact, a well-known glitch from the full version of Wonderland Adventures.
What causes it in the Editor is presumably the same as what causes it in Wonderland Adventures - If, on a save where you have magic, you load a save with no magic, the glove will remain in the corner and the magic spell will become this white star magic. It acts like a POW fireball, but can't be placed in the editor.
As for the charges, it's not actually going up. The charges are negative.
Why this bug exists, no one knows, except maybe Patrick. I personally think that it has something to do with all the black glitch magic gloves.

I'd rather not.

I know I've seen this bug before (or something like it) even in the v0.96 player, but I just try it out right now and I just couldn't make it happen.
[edit: nevermind, I think I figure it out. It looks like in v0.96 for the bug to occur:
1) you have to first be in a game where your item bag isn't empty
2) then you get some magic (either in the current level or loading a save game)
3) After that, if you load a savegame where you have no magic, or just start a new adventure, you'll still be able to use the magic from step 2.]
