Well, I'm still asleep from in I BET YOU THOUGHT I WAS BACK FOR GOOD when I fell asleep after my return. I've been sleep-posting, sleep-chatting, sleep-playing your entries, and sleep-judging them. It's a good thing I'm asleep, because it's REALLY late.
Also, Yzfm, you're disqualified too. I was cooperative with kidkid and llarson in fixing problems like missing textures and errors that made the adventure impossible. You're adventure had both those problems, and that's my justification. It's lame, but I'm asleep so it's logical to me and from what I DID see I could tell you weren't going to win anyway. Feel free to, uh, post your adventure in public... after fixing it.
Now, at long last, without further ado...
The WACC3 RESUUUUUUULTS!
3RD PLACE:
LLARSON'S ENTRY: 'Totally random adventure'
ATMOSPHERE: 10/75
I honestly don't know what to say. Your theme was random, and your atmosphere was... WonderTown. With randomly placed scenery and randomly chosen music, and dialogs that were... supposed to be funny I guess. The entry, and the end in particular, felt more lazy than random. Your atmosphere just wasn't as good as the competition.
PUZZLES: 5/25:
These were kind of random too. In, you know, a bad way. They weren't really fun, or challenging, or anything. The fading and unfading gate puzzle in particular was tedious and annoying, and I almost gave you even less points than I already did just because of that. Be grateful I didn't or something.
OVERALL: 15/100
2ND PLACE:
KIDKIDAAA1'S ENTRY: 'SPOOKY'
ATMOSPHERE: 23/75
The use of ambience, darkness, and rain improved the creepiness somewhat, but the Thwart didn't scare me that much, which made all the dialogs about the Thwart being scary seem like the player was just paranoid, which obviously wasn't intended. When the Thwart eventually talked to me, he seemed more like a villain out of MyNameIsKooky's main series than out of Gem Chompers. Also, the fact that the ending explained some of the mystery made it even less scary. Sorry, but this wasn't that scary.
PUZZLES: 10/25
The puzzles weren't terrible, but they weren't terribly original either. Most of them... actually, pretty much all of them were things I'd seen before, and they pretty much solved themselves. Actually, my main difficulty was actually having to look hard to see the layout of the second transporter puzzle due to the transporters being out of your GlowGem's range in dark
area. So yeah, not the greatest puzzle design.
OVERALL: 33/100
1ST PLACE:
AB-47'S ENTRY: 'Ocean of Wondergods'
ATMOSPHERE: 45/75
The atmosphere was very good. Some graphical errors in the first .wlv--transporters and also the bridge appear somewhat to be buried in the sand, but I could tell there was a lot of effort put into it. The whole aesthetic with the pillars really helped the mysterious atmosphere, and the turtles and platlife helped show that this place was not like above-water Wonderland. I thought the swimming patterns for the turtles in the first .wlv could have been improved upon though.
PUZZLES: 13/25
The main reason I'm giving you a better score than kidkid is that you ARE better. A I would have given you more than 3 points more, though, if every SINGLE puzzle didn't feel like it would be far less annoying if it were better designed. Also, while not exactly a graphical ERROR like mentioned above, I kind of wish it were easier to tell walkable ground from nonwalkable.
OVERALL: 58/100
Congratulations, and enjoy your freedom while it lasts, because as soon as you see this post, WACC4 will be your responsibility!
I know, I know, I was probably not the greatest judge. I do feel like my scoring was off and my comments were off. But being a judge is INTENSE, and INTENSITY mixes badly with sleep. Did I mention I was asleep?
Anyway, here's the manditory compilation of all 3 entries! Yay!
But first, item drop:
I don't remember what music is used, so just get the Megapack:

AAAAAAAAAAAAAND ab-47's super special 24.ogg:

And, um, gosh, lemme see here... yep, that's the music. Probably more than the music. And let me tell you, I am half awake right now, which, when you're asleep, is the equivalent of being half asleep. So, put the textures in Custom, the adventures in Downloads Inbox, and me in... what am I talking about? That's what I get posting this while asleep. Just download the zip and be happy.
