By the way, the second adventure looks like an adventure from WA (In forest's End I think), but notably darker.

Nice Screenies!
I actually was just watching random Wonderland videos because I was bored and look at this room I found! I think that room was from the original PQ and that room got it's inspiration from an area in Forest's End. This is a Znoo-Znee lock puzzle in Forest's End.

Right, inspiration.
Yzfm, when this one is complete, I'll change the topic title and say demo is released. Also, the link will come in the first post. Thirdly, I'll post here saying that I have released the demo.

The last screenshots for the DEMO are here!
This is the STONE TEMPLE in which you'll find the famous wizard VINEETH G. Vineeth G was my first friend ever and the best friend till today. So, he gets the best role of all others.

And then, the primary testing of the hub is over. This test was to check for errors and mis-fittings in the hub.
Then the secondary test will go on. I'm doing this test to complete adventures in the editor so that they are all proper.
Finally, the tertiary test is as if I play the whole game as a player.

PRIMARY - 100%
SECONDARY - 0%
TERTIARY - 50%

You may expect the game on FEB-18-2013, that's only 2 more days to go!

I played it for a while. But there's a glitch in the icy place in the cave that allowed you to fail in the hub. I don't have a pic at the moment. It is done by sliding diagonally on an ice tile that makes you fall in water.

That's not a glitch. The player must be careful. Well, nobody likes to slide into water on purpose. Even so, there are some areas where you can go willingly to die in the hub but, you shouldn't do it intentionally. Besides... never fall into an unecessary trap

Personally, I think the player should never be able to die in the hub, and I would try to avoid that if I were you.

Downloading it now! :D

Nice hub so far! It's awesome!

Just a couple of things I found...

- In that level where you get the magic gloves, there's a round bridge button that activates a bridge in-between the two white buttons that is not necessary. Also, someone could not pick-up the gloves and finish the adventure, then they don't get any gloves.

- In the level where you learn blink, you can simply blink right through the water on the left into the end area.

Overall, a terrific job! :D

So, you are all telling me that there are no syntactical errors at all. Good to hear. The only glitches occur because of a player's curiousity or intent. Okay, I'll take care of those next time. How silly of me to realise that blink training was that plain and straight?
Overall, thanks for the feedback. Please finish the game and rate it for graphics, gameplay, consistency, challenge, funness and overall. I'd love to hear them from you all

GRAPHICS - 12/15
Excellent scenery, terrain and such! I suggest decorating your caverns with rocks.
ADVENTURES - 7/10
A fine effort with the adventures. I suggest in the future, don't make your adventures too long. Short and challenging is always better than long and repetitive.
GAMEPLAY - 8/10
Really good gameplay content. Very consistent, good storyline, fantastic job! Just possibly avoid the repetitive going back from place to place so soon, cause I found that a tad tedious.
DIFFICULTY - 5/5
The adventures in the near-end of the game started to become more and more difficult (but not difficult enough for me :P).
ENTERTAINMENT - 4/5
I found this to be quite engaging and entertaining. There were a couple of parts that put me off-track.
DIALOGUES - 3/5
There were a few spelling errors and major grammar errors, but the content of the dialog was good.
OVERALL - 39/50 ~ B+
A nice and engaging first part to your hub. There are a few things you could improve upon to get a better score, but 39 is a very decent score, especially for the first part/demo.

Thanks for the feedback. Now, I'll work on rocks in the cave and travelling places. The grammar belongs to my friends. I personally asked them to tell the dialogues their way so that I could add it in the hub. But I don't quite get your point when it comes to adventures. Can you explain please?

Posted: Sun Feb 17, 2013 6:10 am
by md
Well, I remember some of the adventures were long and somewhat repetitive that took a while to complete and lots of saving/loading... I would try to avoid that.

Also, can I make some adventures for your hub (if you say no, then it's ok).

Thanks for the offer. But I prefer making my own. Maybe, I'll need some help in the last phases, let me think. Then I'll tell you. Thanks md for your interest in all parts of my hub. :D
I'll startthe next version soon.

20 days of a break, good enough for me. I'm continuing this from today.

REPORT - 5%
Adventures - 3/30 (55)
Hub - 0/25 (45)

I'm slightly changing the start. In the first demo, you go to the wizard, talk to him, go to the woods, get the gloves and then go to town, talk to mayor and then travel to woods again. I'm reducing the frequency of back-travelling.

So, you come out of the waterstream cave, get the gloves from the wizard himself, then go to the town to get the green key from the town water canals. After you get a green key there, you'll go to the woods. That glove adventure earlier will be a normal adventure now. After the woods, you go to temple and he tells you to go to the desert to find the SAND shard.

This idea sounds much better. Doesn't it?
