Oh, thanks Wonderland King! Perhaps this will motivate me enough to get another update out :P
But seriously, I kinda want to do it, but I'm having too much fun in the the arcade in WA1. I've finally figured out the secret to CrossRoad Level 3, and done Wakka Wakka Level 3 and Brick Buster Level 1.
I do have school as well!

PS: You can have the crown back :D

I've decided that the next update will be a complete remake of what I already had to fix the extremely terrible and slow physics programming.
I should be done either tomorrow or day after.
I'm almost done actually, just have to stop Stinky walking through walls and make him able to push buttons.

EDIT - 3 hours later: Ok, the walls are solid now. The buttons are stubbornly refusing to cooperate.

EDIT - Same time next day: The buttons are almost finished, they just need a little tweak to make them more customisable. Update tomorrow hopefully!

I cloned part of the WA music into LSDJ. You can listen to a recording of my Game Boy playing it here: http://cloudrac3r.ddns.net/data/wdlmusic.ogg

Noice!

Alrighty, the update is out!
I'm not putting a change log in here because
a) I already put one on my website, twice
b) You're going to go to the website anyway to dwonload it
c) I'm lazy
If you don't have the link, here it is: http://cloudrac3r.ddns.net/wdla/

If so, could you possibly give me all the info, and what inspired you to make this beautiful rom?

What are you talking about? Pastoral, or Wonderland GB? I'm perfectly happy to make press statements :P
Oh yeah, we should PM instead of spamming the topic!

I went away for the week, and my parents turned off the home internet. Since my website is on a nice little Raspberry Pi Zero at my house using my home internet connection, it went off. It should be back right now, if it's not give me a few minutes.

Not doing much right now, which of these would you like to see added first?
- Cannons
- Boxes
- Bigger maps
- Level select/title screen/something to make it look more polished
(I like the last one the best)

I'd say finish before polish.

Level select/title screen first, even if it's only an amateur game imho

I spent two hours adding boxes and now they're almost done! All I have to do is make them not go into walls or other boxes.
I am SO HAPPY I DID THIS!!!!!!!!

Have you ever thought of making open source so other people could work on it?

Yes, I have thought of doing that. And so I did do that. The source code is available for all versions since 0.1.0 on the downloads page. For versions before then, I didn't keep the old code, so I can't upload it.

0.2.1 Update!
Now boxes can't go inside other boxes. Go download it, and of course, please email wonderlandgbbugs@gmail.com if you find any bugs in the game or broken links on my website.
Again, the website is cloudrac3r.ddns.net. I don't know why you would keep needing me to tell you the URL when it is in many, many posts on this topic, but...

Screenshots, Please?

First of all, let me just say.. Wonderland on a GameBoy?!? What an interesting idea for a project!! My only question is, could I see a few screenshots of the game, so I can at least see what it looks like before I go ahead with downloading the latest version?! :D

While I understand your concern about running random files on the internet, these are not executable files (.exe), they are Game Boy ROMs (.gb) which cannot harm your computer in any way. But of course, to run these you need an emulator which is an executable file. Make sure to download an emulator that you trust. BGB is an excellent choice. By the way don't get it (or anything) from softonic, becuase their installer also packages in lots of crapware.

About screenshots: they're on my site, if you can find the link.
Here's another one for easier access: http://cloudrac3r.ddns.net/wdla/screenshots.html

About an update: I'm working on Super Stinky World right now. Once that's done, I'll have a lot more free time. I also 100%ed Mario Galaxy the other day, so I don't need to play that either.

0.2.2 Update!
There's water, and you can push boxes in it.
Read more on my site.
ALSO: If you're interested in designing a map for the next version of the game, send it in to wonderlandgbbugs@gmail.com or PM me or reply to this topic. I'm interested to see what you can come up with!

This Game Boy game seriously needs to be better. I think everyone interested who has coding skills (including me) should collaborate and make a BETTER version.
If anyone is interested, I'll be in the #wonderland Discord in 12-13 hours, and staying for the next five days (unless I'm eating or sleeping). Contact jdl or tyteen for access to it.
