How about a diagonal transporter?
A place to discuss all things Wonderland!

How about a freestyle transporter? Use a magic to turn a normal transporter into a freestyle one, move anywhere using your arrow keys.StinkerSquad01 wrote:How about a diagonal transporter?
Maybe they can be toggled like gates. Then again maybe they ARE gates with a graphical update.MyNameIsKooky wrote:If they were RTW Transporters, why would they need colors?

Fairly, you two are the ones who are being rude. And to Qloof, if you can't understand any person's post, its just better to ask him/her rather than telling him/her that its wrong... until you see if he/she really meant it. And to billybob, just telling a person something that is not going to hurt him/her in anyway is not rude...billybob wrote:It didn't sound like one. Patrick already told you that the project was stuck. Replying to that with "sending a screenshot would be better" is just rude.Guppy Star wrote:Ah, come on! What do you think of this post w.r.t my post?~xpr'd~ wrote:At least could you make a video quickly showcasing what's been done? I don't care if it's not incredibly major, and even if it's gonna have something added later, I would like to know how it's coming along.
I think Q and Billy Bob thinks Guppy Star is being immature for rushing. When you are burning, someone pours oil on you, how would you feel? Same with Patrick, Patrick is currently running out of ideas when Guppy comes in and "demanded" (he does sound somewhat demanding to me) a new screenshot. What he does is just rushing Patrick to get PoTZ done. Patrick is an indie developer, he makes a living on Wonderland Sales. Don't rush him - he knows his own pace.Qwerty20000 wrote:Qloof234 wrote:What'd be even better is not being greedy like that. I see nothing wrong in his request. I think he told 'better' maybe because he was interested and couldn't wait until its released...
Guppy Star wrote:That wasn't a rush and what qwerty2000 told is not right... Why do you people think its a demand? DEMAND?
Why do you people have to target me just because Qloof made an insolent popish post? Don't tell me I'm jealous, I know it... xprd demanded a video which is more straining for Patrick than me demanding a screenshot according to you people's sense which is DEMAND?
And simply:At least could you make a video quickly showcasing what's been done? I don't care if it's not incredibly major, and even if it's gonna have something added later, I would like to know how it's coming along.
Makes a difference. Magic words such as "would", "please" makes even more differences.Sending a screenshot will be better
The point is, it seemed that you are demanding Patrick to give you a screenshot when he has probably nothing to give. They consider it rude.Guppy Star wrote:I agree, I didn't add please or would or could but I just want to know why it was a demand?[/size]
PoTZ's name was there since the end of MoFI...epicdude15 wrote:i always thaught POTZ was ment for power of the z-bots but now i relize its planet of the z-bots, where did i go wrong... ?
Acronyms are always welcome for creativeness. :Pepicdude15 wrote:yeah i know that xD but power of the z-bots is a goodname
My thoughts on the coding in red.MyNameIsKooky wrote:My thoughts on the coding in bold.Emerald141 wrote:-----Next

-----EndIf
----EndIf
---EndIf
--EndIf
-EndIf
End Function
I believe that was the coding for the spellball shooters from MOFI.
I think you are right about this.
Function ControlRetroCoily(l)
I don't think "ControlRetroCoily" is related to indigo because indigo hasn't been defined in the code yet.
Agreed again. We have had Coily's in MOFI. (Which were also retro.) Although I am a bit confused why it has control in the name. It isn't a command or a label like you said it might be (somewhere else).
-If ObjectIndigo(l)-0
--EntityAlpha ObjectEntity(l).0.2
-Else
--EntityAlpha ObjectENtity(l).1
-EndIf
That was possibly the coding that selects Indigo Magic from a charger.
OK, a little bit confused by the first line of this. By two things really. There is no such thing as -0, and the "If" at the start. It is clearly saying that "If this happens then this will happen." But if what happens then this will happen? It doesn't say "If ObjectIndigo(l) = -0"!
(P.S. It says If ObjectIndigo(l)-0 again in the next bit too.)
-: check if biting someone
-If ObjectIndigo(l)-0
--For j-0 To NofObjectx-1
---If ObjectType(j)-1 Or ObjectType(j)-120 Or ObjectType(j)-100 Or ObjectType(j)-110 Or ObjectType(j)-390
Checked for types of stuff that could be affected by indigo?
Type can mean something else in blitz coding (not that it means this, it could mean either). See on the right in the original picture? it is showing the functions, but right of where it says functions, it says types.
----If (ObjectX(l)-ObjectX(j))^2+(ObjectY(j))^2<.5
-----DestroyObject(j,8)
Position checker that destroys upon being in that position affected by variables?
----EndIf
---EndIf
--Next
-endif
-If ObjectFrozen(l)-1 Or ObjectFrozen(l)-10001 Or ObjectFrozen(l)—1
--freeze
"Freeze"s certain objects?
Huh? But it already says that the object is frozen. ObjectFrozen must mean something else than the object being frozen. Either that or "freeze" means something else than freeze. Otherwise it gets frozen twice! What would be the point in that?
--If ObjectFrozen(l)-10001
---ObjectFrozen(l)-ObjectFrozen(l)+999
--Else
---ObjectFrozen(l)-10008ObjectFrozen(l)
--EndIf
No clue on this part.
Me neither. Patrick has a lot of crazy numbers.
That doesn't work. If you said:StinkerSquad01 wrote:endif
