(Sorry, I wanted an excuse to use that picture again)
Since I've gotten into adventure creating again, I've also experimented a bit with MoFI elements.
I'm assuming that people still use the MoFI Adventure Player trick-thing that cbloopy found, so let me know if I'm wrong.
Anyways! I've been working on an adventure for said player over the past few days, and it's almost finished. I've got some bugtesting to do still, and I might make it longer (not entirely sure, but I might). This is a picture of the first room.
I've been using custom item textures in it, and I was considering custom music at one point (before realizing I have no idea what file numbers are going to create conflicts and which won't).
As with the other adventure I released a while ago, I've been putting effort into the scenery, and the puzzles are likely going to be easy here as well (I'm good at solving puzzles, not making them). I'd like input on how it looks so far, though.
In other news, is anyone else having a lot of trouble with the uploader? It just gives me a server error when I try uploading.

*AHEM*
Freeness (I think): 13-99... 121-149... 201-229... 256-299... 354-399... 405-some huge number.
Of course, freeness is also subject to change.

And no one does use the MOFI player.

Wow, that looks pretty awesome. And yeah, as MWM said, no one really uses it unless its for hub. (Which don't seem to come up as often now.)

Actually, I'm planning to use number 99 as the beach music from MOFI. *shot*
(Yes, I know it's actually just sounds, however, I managed to convert it to music)

I found out something: I enjoy making levels very much, but I HATE testing them. Which explains why I'm 40% done with my FOURTH adventure and have not completed my third adventure.

Maybe you should make a level that you actually find fun?

I just found an old quote by Emerald.

Hey, that's a nice name. He should use that for a character in his adventures.

I was just thinking that maybe he accidentally revealed his name for the adventurer.

Oh well, just about every name in TMD that I started is a modification of something from either Redwall or Freelancer.

@Nobody, actually my fourth level is really fun. I've "tested" it four times just because I liked it so much.
@Emerald, MY ARGUMENT WAS GOOD.
I was in bed last night, and it hit me. I think I know what my stinker's name is.
I think his name is Stinky.
Yep, the Stinky from TOW, RTW, and WSW.
Why do I think this? Simple. In WA and MOFI, there are moments when a NPC mentions events from the classic games, and your stinker says that they sound somewhat familiar. Also, in one of your levels, a NPC wants to tell you of the story of Stinky, Loof, Qookie, and Peegue, but you say you already know. HOW do you already know? No-one has told you their story(the NPCs that mentioned it in MOFI and WA only recalled some parts, not the whole story). It's possible that you are sub-consciously remembering.
Another thing. In the MOFI Retro area, you visit YOUR PAST. Which are levels from the classic games. And, in "The Council of the Thwarts" in the Red Thwart's quest, the Loof NPC says "Where should I go, Stinky?" So he obviously recognized you as Stinky. Plus, you played the role of Stinky in the other sections of the Red Thwart's quest, AND in MOFI Retro.

I'm considering putting every single one of my adventures in zip files for the sheer purpose of spiting everyone.

(I actually like zip files better)

And I believe your reply, Emerald, was this:
Interesting guess, and I have to say I'm impressed with the creativity. I can't, however, tell you if you're right or wrong because clarifying guesses has led to too many problems in the past.
The one thing I will tell you is that the Council of Thwarts thing had nothing to do with it. That was just the player assuming the role of Stinky in that particular level; I could just have easily had him be Loof, but decided against it.

... Let me get this straight.
Because a handful of people disagree with you on the need for .zip files, you're thinking of going out of your way to spite them?
... 'Kay then! Can't really think of much to comment on there.

Can't you guys come up with a compromise? How about increasing the file limit AND reducing the size of stuff over 800 kilobytes?

Well, surely I'm not stupid enough to "punish" people for disagreeing with me?

If MS still exists, fine by me.

I don't think you're stupid, no. Reason I came to that conclusion is because I've known some people in real life who've done stuff like that despite being reasonable most of the time.
And yes, a compromise is fine by me. Having said that, we should probably drop this conversation in this thread - There's already a thread for it anyways.
