Trichromatic is now undergoing beta testing. Once that's done, I'll release an open delta version, and after that, final release.

I'd like to be a beta tester.

You two always want to beta test. Do you actually search for bugs or just play the game?

Both. I play through the game, and find any bugs.
I found out that

I find that just publicly releasing demos onto this forum is more effective than having beta testers since more people = higher chance of finding bugs.

Mega bump!
A level editor and expansion pack are currently being worked on.
I am currently unsure about which programming language I'll be using for the editor, but it will most likely be AutoIt.

Here's a pic of the editor in progress.
Also, for those who haven't played the full game yet, click
here to download it or
here for the blog article about it.
Planned editor features:
- possible "sectors" containing as many levels as you want
- ability to change background color
- maybe separate files for editable levels and playable levels, where playable levels cannot be "decompiled" into editable ones

By doing this you are basically spoiling the storyline before it gets released.

There isn't really a plot to this game though.

Make it end on a cliffhanger if it's plot-intensive, or remove anything that really points towards story for a demo... Or something. I dunno.

It's here!
An editor manual is included. It's not very long – I recommend reading it.
An additional utility, Replace.exe, loads a level and replaces all tiles of a certain type with another type.
Some virus scanners may report a virus alert when opening Editor.exe or Replace.exe. This is a false positive.
Updates to the editor or player will not force you to update your level files, unless otherwise specified.
Compiled levels are usually a few kilobytes, so feel free to make huge sectors of 'em!
Download: Catch
Coincidentally, today is exactly three months since the game was released.

By that logic, entire television shows get spoiled as soon as the first episode gets released.

It's true. When I watched the first episode of Star Trek: Voyager, I already knew they would make it home at the end.
