The default textures can be found in the Data/Models folder. Open the .wdf files with Paint to edit them.

Oh ok, thanks Kooky! :)

EDIT: My lord, at this pace I won't be done retexturing these trees in a month.

I think I'll have to pass on this one, retexturing all of the leaves on the tree textures seems to take an awfully long time and it's also very hard to make it look good. In 2 hours I barely got 1/20th of the leaves retextured, and with an awful job.

And the barrels north of the chomper are the life points?

I have an idea for an attack (MY IDEA I CAN USE IT IN MY ADVENTURES AS WELL ETC.)!

How about a barrel (with a magic-attack-like texture) gets springed towards the chomper, and teleporters appear to the front and behind of the chomper. The barrel will appear to fly THROUGH the chomper (and you can add a boom effect)!

Nope.

In an area like that, the only thing I can think of is losing some gameplay elements.

That looks like you worked a lot on that battle system Emerald! Can't wait to try it out. :)

My idea is to shoot the heart of the jade vine with a pow spell, which will in turn destroy all other barrels in the area. I might add a spy-eye to this section so that you can watch the vine being boomed.

ATTACK IDEAS:
Pow(duh)
Brr(using this will make the chomper unable to attack for 1 turn, but you can only use this so many times)
Grow(reduce damage you take for 1-2 turns)
Floing(go back in time so both you and the chomp regain so much HP)

Sounds... epic, but kinda laggy too.
When hundreds of barrels are blowing up a 60X53 cavern and killing almost all the monsters in it, a little lag is the least of your worries.

My level is LAGGING so much (I probably shouldn't have included all those spikeyball sections, but I don't want to remove them now!). I've made the first area much smaller, and I've added a second area where you enter the root itself. Inside the root, you have to fight a load of jade-zombie-thwarts.
