A fire has broken out on the top floor of "The Wonderland Daily News". :o
Can Stinky rescue Peegue from this disaster?

Thanks goes to Popo for her Industrial texture.

Stinky bravely fought his way up to the top floor to save his friend Peegue. He needed a few restarts but in the end he succeeded in extinguishing some flames.
Fun and tricky level, Mark. Thanks :D

Super level, Mark!
Two people, two objects, two buttons, two gates.

Master of simplicity. :D

Amazing level Mark! The unexpected work as usual since the logical didn't! Thanks for a neat mind bender!

Here's a hint for extinguishing the fire:
Don't use the metal box.

Ah, thanks for the hints, drushing and Mark.
The unexpected works as usual since the logical didn't!
Indeed. So I tried the illogical. Had Stinks walk into the opened blue gate and waited for a miracle. Brought me a bit closer to heaven, but not to a gold star. Then I thought the fire must be a mirage, so I had Peegue just walk through it. He lost his hat...
Then I concluded the keg is a mirage, but that idea was blown away quickly.
Finally I thought the whole level must be a mirage, but then, the gold star will be too!

Well, congratulations on this pinnacle of minimalist designing, Mark. I'll bet the next one will just feature Loof and Qook staring at each other with no room to move and not even an exit built in. And I won't be able to solve that one either. :?

Oh well, at least my levels are easy...

Thanks for the belly laugh, I think you could be a stand up, You know that if anyone can, Mark could make a level as you describe above, And make it work.

Hi Mahaloof, no more mirages, I'm no longer designing hex-edited levels.

Funny you should say that. I've actually completed a level with Loof and only 4 floor tiles. It's a challenge I gave myself many months ago and is finally complete. I'll be posting "Elementary" in a couple weeks. :D

Why in a couple of weeks?!
If it's complete... NOW NOW NOW I WANNA SEE THAT!
Loof and 4 floortiles? I cannot even imagine anything like that!

Well, I cán! (And don't encourage him..)

Anyway, a helpful forum member who took pity on me PM'd the solution (thanks, Muzo).
Mark, if I wasn't such a devout atheist, I'd say your residence is somewhere way below. (Maybe that's why you didn't join the 'Who's House is it' competition).

Well, allright then: hats off for this. 8)

I try and keep my posts limited to one a week.
I don't want to saturate the forum with my gobbledegoop levels.
And I had promised Lillie, I would post a level for her next week.

I think the 4-floortile level is SUCH a wonder, that an exception can be made, of course if it's not a level you want to give to Lillie!

Actually I completed "Elementary" two months ago.
I have ten finished level waiting to be posted.
The "Migraine" level I made specially for Lillie as a homage to all her fun "fill in the puddle" levels.

Then make an exception PLEASE and post Elementary, I'm eagerly waiting for that 4-tile wonder. Thanks. :D

When will I ever learn to not do the obvious with your levels? You know why I do? Because I keep thinking one of these times, you are going to do something super obvious, just to stump us that way! Ok, probably not, but it doesn't hurt to hope!

I got my butt nipped in a gate a few times on my way to the end, but I think Stinky wins the Fire Fighting Skills award. Very clever, and amazing to see!

Thanks for the fun!

Indeed. I almost gave up, and then I finally got an idea.

Thanks for the fun. :)

BTW I also took a look at the Elementary 4 tiles level, but was not able to complete that one.

I was fiddling with alt-X9, and it hit me. Maybe I could use that in one of my levels...

I still like "the blue herring" better.
