Posting level series in one thread

This is mostly for all the younger members in the group. I know this has been brought up, and I have no desire to start a debate (and I will not reply to any comments), but I wish you would reconsider.

I did a scan through the past few pages of levels, and there were at least 6 different threads with multiple-levels. Now, many of you create some pretty cool and fun levels, but I for one, cannot possibly keep track of which "threads" I need to keep following. So, I will not.

Some one stated in one of their threads, that they were going to do a series like Liz Mayhew's Coinquest. The key difference being she posted them all individually. So, when someone needed help, they could easily search for that level. When you use the search function, it just pulls up the threads that match the keywords. It is a major pain to search through a thread looking for that particular level.

No hard feelings on my end, if you guys continue to insist on doing it this way. Just know that you won't be getting all the exposure you otherwise would.

A good idea instead of this is to finish the level set, test it, make any revisements, and then post the whole thing in a zip (or link to it from freewebs or something).

:D :D :D I prefer levels to be posted one at a time, Simply because its easier to keep track of whats available to play. :D :D :D

My Caved Series will be in different threads now (Caved 1 and 2 are still in the same thread)

I couldn't agree more Kiki :D thanks wonderlandlover for starting this topic. I don't even bother to download a series thats all compacted into one thread... it's to aggravating. and like Wonderlandlovers already stated, when looking for hints on a level, it's easier to do a search for for one particular level.

I agree. I've had to end up looking thru the posts of the author of a level because it didn't show up on the search and it's quite aggravating and time consuming.

I also have to agree. If I play the first level, even though I like it, I don't plan to check back on that thread every day or two to see if a new level has been posted - so - I miss the rest of the series, and as stated previously, the creator misses out on exposure of their levels, which is a great shame considering all the work that goes in to creating a series of levels.

Much better to post them as most other creators do - one name with progressive numbers. That way everyone's happy.

Many thanks, Monica for starting this thread. It's a good subject, and one that obviously needs addressing on a fairly regular basis.

Many thanks, Monica for starting this thread
sorry Miss Annie but I didn't start it, Lisa did, I've thought about it a few times but sometimes people can be to touchy when it comes to matters of criticizing their work or the way they do things.

I agree with all of you, I don't like seraching through one thread to find level upates either. When I see a level thread that I have already posted on at the top of the list, I usually don't read it again, because there usually isn't any need to.

Oops ! ! ! You're right - you didn't, she did and I goofed.

Sorry Lisa - I was reading Monica's post and once again got my fingers in a muddle. It happens frequently. No hurt feelings I hope - and I also hope the level makers involved in this discussion won't get upset either. We all like to play ALL the levels, and the easier it is to find them, the better for us all.

Keep making them and we'll keep playing.
Thank you so much for all your hard work. It is very much appreciated.

Mrs. Annie, you don't have to worry about offending me. I'm pretty easy going (at least most of the time :D ). I think you must have gotten some of Kiki's goofy finger. :D

Thank you, again, dlcs18, I know it is appreciated by all. :D

That would be gamer12345 and I that you mentioned, and everyone has a choice. The choice is to:

Post all the levels in one thread

OR

Post them seperately

Different people have different decisions, and you can't change someone's personality. I think it best that this thread be finished.

P.S. When we release Level 25, we will make seperate threads.
