Oh what a shame
Reminds me of when I went through the same thing when I was 11. I'd spent a year at school wondering why I couldn't read things on the blackboard. Then when I got my glasses and could see, people started calling me names. Puberty wasn't the best time to start wearing glasses. So it was the best of times and the worst of times all at once. Kids are more fortunate now, it's cool to wear glasses and if they don't like them they can always have contacts or even laser treatment.

I sure hope so; my daughter has very poor eyesight (+9 - if that makes sence outside DK

) and has been wearing little glasses since she was 1 year 5 months. At the beginning we thought; HOW are we going to make such a small child wear glasses, but as it turned out, she was so happy with them and was very upset when we took them of to polish them, even though, they made her bleed behind the ears, because they were too tight
I do hope that things has changed since I was in school! when I get too worried, i remind my self, that the times has changed and even Harry Potter wears glasses now
Looking forward to try your level Janet.
