New Level (Adv) - Postcards at Stinky's House

Hi All
So sorry for the long delay with this level. I've been snowed under with other work all last week. This is still going on, so there may be more delay before the next level. Such is life ...
Stinky has read the Ancient Book and is off adventuring. He wants Loof and Qookie to join in too.
I'm using Kazzie's great texture, House2, which you probably have already.
Also made a couple of postcards, so you'll need the model file.

Hi Liz
I can´t play your level, because I can´t load the postcard model. I have done the download and unzipping part hundreds and hundreds of times, so I don´t think I´m doing anything wrong.
Is it possible there is something wrong with the model?

Fortunately, I had no problem with the Models and enjoyed the postcards very much. I did have a problem with the #!$&^* chompers, until I figured how to get rid of them (I'm not friends with them anymore, the cheaters).
It may be too early to ask, Liz, but one of your signs hinted at an earlier level of yours? Wasn't it around october 31?? I thought there was something fishy there just before the ending....
Looking forward to the next part!!

Hi Liz,
Love the levels you do, but had a problem with the texture. Downloaded twice, but still got the prompt when trying to open, that it can't load the texture.
I read the above post about "model", downloaded that too, but still nothing.
Please help.............. thank you Foxxxie

First, have you updated to v3.1?
Here is the link to the update page if you have not.
http://www.midnightsynergy.com/returnto ... update.htm
Second, while this problem should be fixed with the update....
If you have a GeForce graphics card, it is sometimes unable to read odd sized jpgs. The "postcards" in this level are odd sized.
I have taken the liberty of resizing them....(OK with you Liz, I hope?)
If you had no problem with Lizzies originals, you do not have to download this.
If you do have a problem with the original, then try downloading this zip.
(It will overwrite the original.)
jg
As for the texture problem, (this could apply to the model also) if everything is sized correctly, when you download, make sure you don't have the folder within a folder problem.

Such fun, Liz. Was definitely making the chomper part harder than it was & once I got them looked after it was on to the spheres which always give me a problem. But Loof & Quookie worked well together & got 'em spheres rolling in their proper locations. They were then able to read the postcards left by Stinky.
Terrific addition to the series. Many thanks.

Fantastic Level Liz

I had quite a bit of problems with the spheres, but pm'd a friend and got it sorted out. The postcards were a fabulous addition to the level, so creative. I loved the pic of Peegue's girlfriend, had me bursting into laughter.

Great teamwork all the way.
Took care of those yellow pests right off and then got the balls

Thanks for an ace puzzler - I'm looking forward to the next adventure

Thanks jg for resizing those models. I'll have to take a look at what you've done, so I can make things the right size in future.

Liz, all you have to do is make the picture how you want it, whatever size and shape. Then when you're happy with it resize it to 512x512, 256x256, 128x128 or 64x64 pixels, whichever is nearest the original size. It will look peculiar but the game will stretch it out again to fit the model.

Thanks so much Popo. I've always just used Robbie's templates and made my images fit to those. I wasn't sure if square images would stretch to fit.

A great puzzle! It took me some time to figure out the yellow spheres, (and really had to check out Peegue'e girlfriend for awhile!

) I really love your quests!
Thanks for the fun!

Thank you for your help janetgalle - it was a size problem for sure
Also thanks to Popo for suggesting the upgrade solution - my game is brand new (It´s from the new CD containing alle 3 Wonderland games), so I guess it must contain the latest upgrade??
Great Level Liz

This one took me ages Lizzie - finally found a way to kill off the chomps - but I had most trouble with the spheres
Looked great and was so much fun to work through

Cool postcards - you are so funny with your models - BRAVO!
Cheers Lizzie
