Yeah, The Kid Quickies are the same as Master Quickies, the only difference is that they are kids.

My first score was around 800 too.
Hint: to get around 1000, you'll have to sacrisifice a few seconds of time...

Yes.
But in this level you can sacrisifice a few seconds and gate the first chomper for an overall improvement.
