One more from James (another developer) - haven't played it myself, but his last one was great, so I'll just pass this on "sight unseen".

Incidentally, if you want a level that's going to take you days to solve, try the one I posted a while ago "Same Game", made originally by David Stolp for another game (I merely made a Wonderland version of it). It took me 4 days to figure it out it, and I think most people here who've tried it ended up putting this one aside on their "I'll do this after I figured out Einstein's theory of relativity" list.

Shall you choose to accept the challenge, good luck, have fun (or would it be frustration?

) and tell me what you think.

I enjoyed struggling, playing over and over, and finally finishing your 1st level James. It just required some thinking, and a hint..
This one is equally intriguing. I know there has to be a simple solution, but right now I am stuck trying to get out of the area with the green gates to get my box, or get my box in and take care of the red dog in one operation.
I will wait and see if anyone else is stuck there..
Thanks for another good puzzle.

James,
Your mother said you should give ol'gramma a teeny little hint, since I like your puzzles so much.

Keep in mind that James probably doesn't browse this forum, considering how it's always Patrick who pass on James's levels to us. Maybe Patrick will relay your message to James if you PM Patrick or just wait for Patrick to read this thread, but Patrick's hands (and likely James's) are probably full right now with the crashes everyone's been having with DRTW.

I really didn't think James was reading this forum, but I thought Patrick, or someone else would be...I was just kidding him
I thought I should post the request to James as it is his level.
Thanks for replying tho, that was nice!
I am sure requests on the forum are not a top priority for MS right now!

You are right, o'gramma, & I'll betcha James DOES read this forum once in awhile - How ELSE would he know what we like???!!!

I cannot see ANYONE making a level and not checking the forum, just to see how it's doing.
C'mon James, don't be shy.

Alright, I've figured out every part in this level, except for the part with the UFOs. That last part with the UFOs I do have a good basic idea of how to do it but haven't actually gone thru the motions of doing it yet, and that part is probably the trickiest part in this whole level. (Don't worry, there aren't really any place in this level that requires tricky timing, as far as I know.)
Since there are no green gates (there's a green teleport and a blue gate) on this level I'm not sure who needs help on what. But I'm willing to give hints if needed, either by posting here or by PM.
Now that I feel like I can do this level, maybe I'll try Jame's first level (which I sort of put aside after a few confused, unsuccessful attempts).

This level is hard!!
I don't know what to do at the part with ol' gramma's untrained dogs, so I get stuck there

Everyone's talking about the dogs. Is it the one behind the blue gates with the boulders, or is it the one near the exit? Just checking.

I am having problems at the blue gates LNS.
No matter how hard I try, Stinky gets stuck in there!
Probably a case of not seeing the grass for the trees, that's my usual
trick, isn't it?
I'd be grateful for any help.

Me too!
You can't use the four boulders, because the spikes destroy them!

You'll slap your head a little when you read this:
there's another blue button elsewhere, don't bother with the one near the spikes

Thanks for the hint LNS...It was me who was calling those gates green....
I don't know if they are blugreen, or greenblue
Aqua I guess.
There is a hint, posted by Malcdelsol for solving the first level by James that is as simple as can be, and when you know it, you do slap your little head.
Thanks for the help...this was bugging the heck out of me!
At least I can get past the chomper now.

Hi Wonderlanders,
Just gotta round to reading all of the posts on this level
I have actually completed this level
I'm not sure that I did the last part (UFO's) as intended by James - cos the way I did it was an absolute nightmare

- but I couldn't see an alternative way.
Not to sure what to say really - but this is FAR FAR FAR from easy
Thanks James - I Think

Hi Davimad,
Do you just want a hint for the last part - getting past the UFO's - or more
Cos the way I did this level ain't half going to take some typing
Kaboom! - if you are reading this - I notice the very first post on this thread is from you saying that you completed this level in 28 mins.
Well that 's very quick indeed - your way of getting past the UFO's must be so much simpler than mine - Spill the Beans

Some words of encouragement:
Just want to mention that I've now solved the level in two slightly different ways, both of which do
not require particularly tricky timing or quick fingers (meaning, no danger of heart attacks, nothing at all like dodging those Kabooms in the Garden

). So relax, you don't have to solve it malcdelsol's way if it's too scary (I have no idea what he did).
