stuck on magic gloves (demo ... I think)

wonderful to have a new game. Thank you.
However, I'm so stuck on the "Magic gloves"part. I can not cross the 3 pink blocks and the 2 little whatsits are behind me ... nor can I get the gems. The little men don't stay on the button.

For the Round Purple Buttons you need to have them stand on the Middle and the left. Step in the Middle Gate and have the one on the left move to the right button.

Dominique - to get the stinkers to stay on the buttons you have to click on a little stinker and keep the mouse click pressed down and release the mouse on the button - hope you know what I mean (click and drag!)

Maybe this is a better idea than having one of the stinkers going through the gates - that didn't work.

Now I'm stuck on the fire part. How do I get past the flames without harming the stinkers?
Patrick - We need a cheat code for this game, such as CTRL-F9.

Put stinkers somewhere, then go carefully yourself, then carefully guide the stinkers.

I got past the fire. But I am stuck. How do I get the gloves? I tried putting one stinker on the round hole and then going over and stepping on the other button. But then there are gaps with the barrels and I can't get across. I even tried putting a guy on each button but that didn't work either. Help! I love these games.

Have one guy on the right button.
Have the other guy step on and off the left button while you walk little bits at a time. Keep in mind that if you get the gloves before going all the way to the gems, you'll accidentally finish the level without your bonus stuff.

SPOILER:
I left one baby stinker outside (clicked and dragged him to a safe spot outside the flame room). As soon as the flame dies run with the other baby stinker all the way across the flames. Then put one baby on the round button and then I hit the other button. Then I moved the baby one to the second button and crossed over the stepping stone as far as I could go. Then I just moved the baby on and off the second button (diamond shape?) and he build the bridges for me!

To me it feels like there are too many spoilers. I was stuck on those parts,
especially the room with the magic gloves, but I worked it out myself.
