I know there`s a thread on this already but it doesn`t answer the question I have

I also know I saw another thread on it started by someone who posted a screenshot, can I find it?, no!!.

The problem I have is when you get past the fire flowers and onto the switch that makes the trunks pop up, when you step on it you instantly drown , how you sposed to get to the coins?

It was me who posted the screenshot, it got accidentally deleted. I can't do that bit either. Here's the screenshot again in case anyone else can help. The red X shows where the stepping stone keeps disappearing when you step on it.

Two hints:

1. Don't go left. Go right.
2. You won't step on that tile yourself anyway.

Pick up the coins when the gate is open.

I have done the entire level minus those coins. Do I have to go back after I've done everything else? That sounds a bit a@@e up'ards to me.

Yes, please, a spoiler would be nice, just for me to see if I did anything wrong. At least from the part after getting through the flowers on the right, and going through to where the piccie shows.

No you don`t have to go back after everything else is done Pauline, as long as you find the thing everyone seems to be talking , I came acroos it while wandering about in Wondertown, don`t want to say anymore cos it may spoil it for others

As someone said, turn right and ignore that trunk for now, once you`ve solved the puzzle with the fire flowers and got the key and coins, get the Scritter again, make him go down and across the sinking barrels, onto the square, this`ll bring up not only the sinking trunk but two more near you.

Use these to get at the coins, the use the bumper facing where the fire flowers were in the first room, you can then sort the turtles and finish.

Thanks Mary, I'll go back and do it again. Up to now there's only 2 levels where I haven't got everything, this one and Tower Maze where I missed one gem.

The one turtle keeps stepping on the barrel. Then he sinks there and I can't get across.

When this last turtles is moving to the right, so towards the barrel, and not yet towards the gates, run to that barrel. But don't stand on it or on the switch, but on the left turtle in the water.
Your last turtle goes the same way as the other 2 did, but when he is on the water where the 2 turtles sank, he turns to the left. So to the button.
You have to prevent the turtle going to the left.
