Over the bridge to wonderland

How do I get past the man on the bridge who says no one can go over, I went back to Merklin but am just as confused, this game does its very best to do just that!!

You must retrieve the indigo shard, then go back to Morklin.

You'll meet a new character there, and then Morklin will send you on your quest and open the bridge for you.

you can also use a glitch to destroy the barrel at the bottom. this must have been intended
