My son figured out a way to blow up the bouncing porcupines in Pop and Blink but he won't tell me what it is. He said it works in all the levels and he accidentally even killed 2 stinkers using it in another level. Did he find something out that no one else has yet or does someone out there know what he is doing? He is so excited because he can get much higher scores than I can with this new secret. I wonder if it is a glitch in the game that he found.

This is probably the same glitch as here: http://www.pcpuzzle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11719. It is strange. How to get it:

Ok, it worked!!! My son is very unhappy now that I can kill stuff like him, and I found another secret to get lots more points on all the levels that he doesn't know. Sorry guys, can't tell this one for fear of my son finding out.

There is one thing that bothers me about this destroyer glove power. It really sort of ruines the game. So many of the levels have chopers or spiky balls or flowers or whatever to make the game a game, but now you can just blow them up and they are kind of pointless.

They should make a patch to get rid of it.

Ah, B. I tried the glitch and it's true. I did again what it say to do in the spoiler box about saving and loading. Managed to blow up a number of stinkers. Also managed to walk to some unwalkable areas. (see off topic discussion on insane sill screenies.)

Have not tried it in a level on the baddies yet. But since I can blow up a townsfolk, no doubt I can also take out a chomper or two!

Glad I didn't know about this before I finished the game or I would've been using it all the time!

Look bpurcell, just because I haven't posted many things to the board doesn't mean I am not for real. Just means I have a life.

As far as not giving the trick a way, you need to read a little better. The key word is "another". The trick to blow things up was my question and if you read the other replies you will see that the answer was given. There is another one that I don't want my son to find out. Again, the key word is "another".

Can't afford a few hundred. But I did try this on a chomper level and it kills them.

I could never figure out the points in the game anyway, so don't care about them. There are some levels that I need this power, so don't patch it out either.

Zinsco, I'm sorry for my previous post. Like I said, I've been watching too many conspiracy theory shows. You're right, I didn't fully read the other posts, and I should have (especially loof101's spoiler). It wasn't anything personal against you. I just remember Patrick using pseudonyms early in this forum to stir up questions.

Plus, it was REALLY late at night. I need to stop writing posts that late. I tend to stick my foot in my mouth.

Does the "descruction" permantly "damage" your game? MAV's, erorr's, anything? Or can you exit and open the game to fix it? Also, do you have to open a save in a adventure or on the map? I hope it can be both! That way I can blow up the gate near the merchant so I can FINALLY see what the sign says!

MAVs can't ruin your game. A MAV is something like this:
