A compilation of level solutions

Hi all,

Putting Peggy's fantastic lists of stars and tokens on my web site, gave me an idea  :

Wouldn't it be nice to have the level solutions accessible from the list? I checked with Patrick and he's OK with it.

The thing is that there's no way I'll be able to find the time to write them all, so I need your help.

If you want to help and have a full solution/walktrough for a level, do this:
1. Go to the list and check that a solution is not already posted and note the number the level has on the list
2. Write your solution - screenshots (.jpg format) more than welcome. If you want to be credited for the solutions: end the text with: 'Solution by yourname'. Please don't make use of any glitches in your solutions (the glitches will probably be removed later on)
3. Save your solution as number.txt, number.doc, number.htm or number.pdf where 'number' should be replaced by for instance 11 if you're writing the solution for star #11 (full filename would be 11.txt, 11.doc, 11.htm or 11.pdf and screenshots would be 11.jpg - if there's more than one 11a.jpg, 11b.jpg etc.).
4. e-mail your solution including screenshots to wasolutions@nutters.dk with subject line: 'star 11'.
5. I'll then put the solutions online as soon as possible :)

If you have any questions about the procedure, please ask them in this post.

I hope a lot of people will give a helping hand with this :)

Best,
Mette

I'm sending in 74 Sunken Paths, 41 IXS-2 Water Lock, and 31 Out of Sight. Will do more as I replay the levels. :D

Is it ok to send them in as PDF files?

Excellent Loirae and Popo. It can actually be a good idea to post here when you have sent me something as I can't guarantee I'll be posting your solutions the instant I get them.

And yes, .pdf are fine - I just forgot about that format  . I added it to my origianl post now ;)

@ Popo and Peggy:
This is excellent - at this rate the solutions will be complete before we know it :D

@ Paul:
Videos are perfectly OK. Just make sure it's in a file format that everybody can view - for instance something that Windows Media player can handle.

Sorry, Pauline! Did you post that you were going to do that level? I thought I had checked them off. Oops!

No I didn't say I was going to do it in case I didn't get round to it. You can do it if you want to, it'll be ages before I get it finished, I had to stop to make some phone calls. It's harder writing all the moves down and doing the screenshots than actually playing the game, don't you think?

I was working on one for #77.
You are right, I think it takes longer to write it out and do screen shots.

I see Peggy was doing a #77, oh well, I posted mine as help for someone asking in one of the threads.

If anyone would like to send me concise directions/solutions for any level, I could do the screen shots. That way the work would be split in half.

(The way I solved most of them are so convoluted and long that there just has to be an easier way on some of them. And I don't believe I would even be able to complete some of them again.!!! I know it took me 81 minutes to finish one adventure, I think it was in the sunken paths area  )

I think Mette must be having server problems. Her website is down and I just got an mail delivery message saying the email I sent her yesterday has not been delivered yet.

Hope it gets fixed soon Mette....although you can't read this message if you can't get online.

Hi all,

I'm online but the server is not at the moment. The server is at my Dad's house and he's not home so it's difficult to find out what's wrong. Either the server itself is down or the server's internet connection is down. I'm trying to get it worked out.

When the server is offline:
* you can send me e-mails - they won't get lost - I just can't read them
* the web site is unavailable

This is of course very annoying and I'm sorry for any inconvenience. When the server gets back online I'll resume working on the list and I'll answer e-mails again.

Mette

Edit: I just talked to my Dad and he'll be home in 3-4 hours. Then I'll know more.

I've sent a solution for star 83. Hopefully it's a good one! Cos this is my first solution I made. I'm working on others like "Powder Keg Storage" or "Red Chompers, Red Keys". But i'm not sure it's going to look good.

You get also stars by not completing an Adventure. How do we make a solution then?
Telling from which point you can get it? like the 2 stars behind the rainbow gate.
That solution is also almost given here on the board. So why rewriting it?

I know Mark made a video solution to #23 Pop Springs, but since it isn't out there, I'll send txt and images.
