Got the Indigo shard from the hairy thingy and tried to head back. Looks like I missed a red key somewhere, can't get through the red gate. Backtracked but end up by that green gate to nowhwere because those red carriers over the water aren't lined up now. Major stuck here and that code to skip won't work here either. Saved the game as Lillie said, have redone but still see no RED KEY. Help please

You don't go through the red gate, that was there to let the Thwart through and then it closed. You have to go back through the green gate and via the transporters to the entrance.

If you can't get to the transporters, there's a blink charging point left from the green gate, across a bridge. If you stand in front of the single thickness wall you can blink through it to the entrance and get out.

Thats my problem I can't blink either I thought I saw Patrick write something that you need to blink back over the green gate, but can't find the post. I hate to restart another game from the beginning, which is what I did here. I'm beside myself very frustrated. No other way around I guess so I'll have to redo. Thanks for trying to help

Are you in the sewers? I think not.
You come across a red gate. Is that the one near the broken bridge?
That key you'll get from Morklin.

If the green gate is at the sewers. You don't have to blink over this gate. Otherwise you get stuck! You can't blink by your return!

Where are you now? What was your last Adventure you've played? I can' figure out where you are.

I just finished "to catch a thief" then i tried to return and can't get out. I ended up back at the green gate on the wrong side so I cant get to the purple glove. I used the red riders over the water to get the coins and jewels but cant get back to the other side no matter what I do.

I'm back again in the sewers. Also at the red gate as you can see on the screenshot

Now go on the red arrow to go back up. Go to the other red arrow and you are back above

So I take it you blinked past the green gate in the first place and are now stuck behind the closed gate.

You should have done the level with the green key before going through the gate, which is up at the top to the right.

There is nothing else for it but start again I'm afraid, unless you have a saved game from before you blinked past the gate. There's no other way to get out past the closed gate.

At least you aren't too far on in the game if you do have to start again.

What is different from your view and my screenshot?

Erwin the last screen shot is it, the green gate is closed for me.

Popo your post sounds like a made a big goof with not getting that green key first. Didn't see that option before I started. From your directions I'll start over and not use the glove to blink with that gate closed. Thank you both for your help here. Wish me luck

If you read that sign you can see in the screen shot it tells you the green key is in one of the levels.

I seem to have a red Key in my bag (I'm in the Forest now) and it's been there for a long time now. So maybe I should just waste it on that gate? (The Red one)

First, strange the green gate is up. But there is a solution for it. Go up! you come in a room with 2 levels on each side. Go up there too. Now you are at the top from the green gate. Sorry! replayed this and there is no way over the sewer!! Sorry but you have to restart.

Can you tell me how you did not open the green gate??
So you must have a green key left in your bag? Or not?

I restarted a new game, and found my mistake. I missed Water Works all together. That's why I blinked across the green gate. Not sure how I missed before, but on my way now. Thank you all for your help walking me through this nightmare.

Oh no Lillie not your fault. I saved when I went after the hairy thing for the indigo shod. I had read your post, that helped me. My dumb mistake was missing Water Works altogether, and blinking past the green gate without opening it first
