Poetic Justice

As I (erm, I mean, Peegue) was preparing video solutions (see the Solutions Section) I really got hung up on a couple of levels that are real stinkers. Especially since I decided to try to solve each level "in one take" (i.e. without saving), I ended up replaying some levels many, many times.

My personal nemesis was "Stinkers in the Dark". I must have had a good hour of film footage of my Stinker getting blasted, bowled over, caged, and just plain stuck. Not to mention finally getting through the level and realizing I had forgot to press "record". ;)

I thought you guys might get a kick out of knowing that I got a taste of my own medicine this weekend. :D  8)

Great to hear that. I loved watching you play Round and Round. My husband thought I'd gone nuts I was laughin so hard at you trying remember how to direct the helper. And I could just hear you muttering, "Oh forget it!" when that bonus coin slipped through your fingers.

Seriously, I find it amazing how totally different you vs. I and other people (judging by the user-posted solutions) completed some of these levels. But I guess it all plays into the theme of "diversity." :D

That's almost exactly what I said. ;) I think I'll leave it there... some other Stinker will be happy to find it. A lucky penny!

(I actually have re-done and re-loaded the Good Flower Bad Flower level since I missed a bunch of coins there, too.)

Well, yes, Patrick (Peegue) that is an immensely satisfying thing to know.
Thank you for sharing!

Aside from writing all the code for the game, did you design all the adventures yourself too? If so, how long did it take?

We (me, nosy me) would really like to know. Say, why don't you interview yourself for the next issue of the Midnight Post? Tell us (me, nosy me) all about the highs and lows of creating an entire game from start to finish.

I am actually planning a "The Making of Wonderland Adventures" article (probably a series spread over the next few issues). All will be answered then. ;)

The game engine is so nice that a sequel should be built off of like RTW was built off of Wonderland. :D

BTW: Why do Stinky and Loof have accounts while Qookie and Peegue are not registered yet? I would have liked to see a Peegue account post the video solutions.
