The Wonderland Board

First I hated these arcade games. Only these 3! I've used the cheat code to collect my last 2 stars last time. But now I want to completed all levels.

I don't know where to go in level 2.
It's always the same: collect a key in first room, then open the gate in second and another key and so on.

If anyone could tell how to start. Which side first? Left room or right room? Searching in this room for what? Or is it only a maze to another room?
What's on the other side? A maze! oké, know that. But those dark mazes are scaring off a lot.

Please help me start this level.

Okay!! Made my own walkthru!

It wasn't all correct. But I've made it to the star.
