Okay, if he won't disappear try going back and forth on the first two tramps to get him right up beside the tramp in his area, then go. That should give you time to land and slide safely away!

OK, what is going on? I keep getting killed at the very beginning and I have no idea why. I'm starting to be sorry I ever bought this game.

I see the gate buttons and the reflector going over them but no gates. While I'm on the subject, when I'm playing levels the gate buttons are colored but the gates themselves are all white. Could these problems be because my computer is too slow or the fact I don't have a 3D video card? I just went back to Midnight Synergy's web sight and didn't see anything about computer minimum requirements.

I see the gate buttons and the reflector going over them but no gates.

If you look real close you can see where the gates are, Just make sure you only move when the reflectors are actually sitting on the buttons, Just some good timing will get you to the next part of the level.
as to the color of the gates in your PC I don't have a clue there.

Thanks kiki. I went back and looked closer and did see the three gray spots where the gates are supposed to be connected to a wall. I'll try it again.

Hi Larry i guess you could say its a kind of glitch, even though you dont see the gates going on and off, you can only move when the reflector on the particular gate your going through is sitting still, otherwise you get gated.

Got gated on my first try, but going more carefully succeeded on my second go.

Made it. But I got gated every time I tried running the gauntlet - had to walk it instead. Also don't know how I timed the trampoline jump just right - probably nothing but sheer luck.
