So close yet so far away

I really have to hand it to you. Up to the boulder puzzle, this was a very fun arcade adventure for me. Never would have thought I could get thru that beginning but I found a hidey-hole and proceeded to the red fellows. where I was sooooo fast & only one was eating my dust and I slid right by him to go on. The electros were intimidating at first but I got used to them and found my rhythm. Then I felt trapped but after five tries, was able to run the gauntlet only to fail miserably when one wrong step with the buttons and boulders foiled my victory. Oh well, I may try again but I consider this a small victory at any rate. Thank you Matthew. I am much impressed with your skills on this one.

I knew the boulder sequence at the first glance cause it's a variation of my trick. However, because of arcade sequences I cannot actually GET to it for now.
Hint for boulder puzzle:

When the boulder rolls, for another boulder it may act as a block...

Wow this is a doozy...haven't gotten to the boulder part yet. I'm still trying to get past the spikes and red gate leading to the yellow TP.....I had to come and see if there were any hints about that.

This is a fun level! Scary surprises and I'm cursing UFO's way too much. Better take a break while the neighbor kids are around LOL

There isn't any real hint about it, it's just the matter of timing.
