In the middle of the purple shard game and i have no room left in my bag. I cannot use a shard to get back to the merchant - full bag -and i don't have a saved game to go back to.
How do I get out of here, even if I wanted to restart i can't walk back out of the game.
I'm stuck!!!!!!!!!

Once you're in the void... You'll never return!
As your bag is full and you can't get back when you're in the void, you'll have to restart the game.

(Press the Start New Game again)

You can actually set your old save-games back, because every old save-game is stored. In this topic is written what you should do:

Thanks for the link but it doesn't work as I don't have a backup file and the previous saved games are so far back. I only usually have 2 saved games that are current which I use as I go along.

But not so far away as to the beginning of the game, are they?
I would try it at those positions if I had to choose.
Or 'what' was so far away?

The last saved game was just before the Forest, have done that now but am yet again stuck in the forest trying to get out.
Thought I'd got past that bit, thanks for the reply though.

why don't you use the indigo shard to get back to morklin and from there you can go back to the merchant and buy a bigger bag. After that you can go back to forest end.

Yes I bought a bigger bag! I know I don't have enough stars to get through the 104 gate but if I first get the purple shard will I be able to return to look for the other stars or do I have to do this first?
Don't want to risk getting stuck again

If you got the purple shard, you 'll return to Morklin.
Remember: don't use the cheat in the level "The Purple Shard". I don't get the shard then!

There's a way to win the level without getting any keys. The solution is complicated, so I'll just give you 2 hints:
1) If you make a Brr tablet and Blink onto it, you can just stand there for as long as you wish.
2)There's a route you can take by making Brr tablets from the lower are of the challenge on the top to the area east of the magic area. If you know it's there, it shouldn't be too hard to find.

It's actually very simple, no need for Brr at all. Only Blink is required.
If you watch my speedrun of this level
here, you will see how this route (found by MasterWonderMage) allows you to complete the level in 15 seconds.
It's just a simple, simple blink that probably shouldn't work, but for some reason it does.
