Return to Wonderland Adventures - To Catch a Thief
Yes, it's finally here. The grand chase to the next shard. Now, how to make a thwart that throws fireballs? Play and see... I expect this one will be a teeny bit harder than the others. But hopefully not too much.
Please!!!! Download the model pack which will include the indigo shard and popo's amazing furball. She worked so very hard to create something fitting for a WA spoof, and yet still fun to see. I just love this guy. Thanks so very much popo. Your talents are awe-inspiring.
Last sewer level using my
rtwasewer Custom Texture. Click here
http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/download.php?id=19060 to begin the download and unzip it to the Custom Textures folder if you don't already have it.
Loof's Journal:
He went that way! I saw him run down that pipe and into another area of the sewer. He was making strange noises and calling in a strange hooting voice. I can't tell if he's laughing at me, trying to scare me, or alerting his friends. But I must rescue the shard he stole, so I must follow him. Gathering wits and gloved superpowers... Here we go!

Loirae,
Yes, I did.

(I do every time.

)
And even tho I knew better, yes, I had to.
I do believe I hear the furballs laughing. (No, wait, that's you!)
Excellent level, after many restarts I decided to go for broke and...... Wha Laa!
Pauline,
Absolutely wonderful!
Thanks,
jg

Popo - those furball models are priceless!
You're a clever girl.
Just had to let you know I'm trying, and trying, and trying.
But so far I can't get out of the room with the two furballs.
This one is WAY harder than the original!

I was stumped trying to figure out what to do with those reflectors and I tried so many different combinations that all of a sudden the answer appeared! Then another round of restarts to figure out the gates!
And yep, just like Liz, I simply have to go for the recharge
Great models and a fun challenge, big thanks!

By far the most trickiest level of the series yet.
The models by Popo are brilliant,
For a moment I thought I was in the wrong game, Love the timing that is needed to move ahead.
Ace work bud!

Oh my, so late on the download!
The models are PERFECT....how genius, wonderlanderful job!
I can't get past those fur balls yet...but now that I've read a few posts I'm gonna go back and try again. Yes, much harder than the WA version but I'm lovin' it.
Thanks girls.

Sorry it's a little difficult. Trying to keep with the spirit of the original which sometimes make sa level easier and sometimes makes it harder. Couldn't just have loof waltz right through, now could we?
Ok a hint, not a spoiler, for the first part:
You have to destroy both reflectors in order to move to the next section. But when and how to destoy them is for another hint.

Good fun escaping those furrballs, but I was so afraid of the Boss (the last one). Finally I saw nothing else to do, so I stepped boldly and... nothing happened!
Thanks!

I have a complete mental block with this one.
Keep trying over and over, but as far as I can see the number of moves is very limited and every way I end up dead.

Can't get past the furballs. Can someone please PM me?

Sorry all. Been busy with tax time here in the ole USA. I meant to come back mush earlier with a spoiler, but haven't. Thanks popo for keeping up with the demand. Larryoke, I don't know if anytone has PMed you, but here's the spoiler at long last.
spoiler for furball/reflector part wrote:Walk down and around and get the coins first.
Walk up between the two reflectors.
Push the right reflector right to block the side furball, but not all the way to where it bows up the keg.
Got back and push the far left reflector so it's in front of the bridge.
Walk up the brdige and push the reflector up, but again not all the way up.
With both furballs blocked, you should still be stuck between them.
Go back to the right side furball.
Push the reflector directly ion front of him so he shoots and hit hits the keg and blow up the reflector, but run quickly around the corner and up to be safe.
Next, push the top reflector directly up in front of the top furballMaking sure he has just enough time to shoot at you and blow up the stuff, but then side stem to the breaking tile so you're not hit.
With both reflectors blown up, a new one will magically appear to block the side furball, allowing you to walk up to the next part.
Part 2:
Tramp straight across.
Go up and right and hit the red timer.
Quickly enter the pool area and go left, then back right to collect the top two bonus coins. walk down for the third and before getting the 4th, make sure the red timer has run out so the minnion behind the red gate is safe. We'll need him.
After you get the bonus coins, go up, hit the red timer, and go left.
Hit the yellow timer then move up, right, left so one if the minnions gets the coins behind the yellow gate. You can let this guy explode after he gets the coin by crunching him in a yellow gate.
You should now have one minnion outsdie the red gate and the other one gone.
walk all the way right, then one step back so you are in line with the yellow gates. The minnion should be holding the yeloow gates open for you. Walk up and left through them.
The rest is easy. No one will shoot at you.
Hope it helps.

Thanks Loriae. Nobody had PM'd me yet. I had already tried what you said to do with the reflectors but blew mysef up every time. I guess my timing wasn't good/quick enough. Guess I'll go back and try again.

Thanks for asking.
Well, Loof is currently staying in a hotel next door to the merchant. He was so tried after running around after those furballs. And he needed a bath from al the icky sewer stuff.
Actually, real life has ganged up on me in the form of Spring Break, a birthday out of town, followed up by a pretty serious fall that has left my ankle swollen to twice its size. Even went to the hospital where I found out is isn't broken or fractured. Beyond that, the swelling was too much for them to say for sure if it's a sprain or if I tore something. I can't sit at my computer long enough to make a level and the pain killers I take make me more loopy than usual.
So, I'll be back with more RTWA stuff when I've built up my endurance for sitting at a computer.

Oh honey, what a bummer for you
You take real good care of that ankle, usually sprains & strains are worse than breaks, they take longer to heal. Gee I'm just full of good news aren't I? Sorry bout' that
Ice, elevation, anti-inflammatory is the key. Hey and those pain killers can be fun too

I'd love to see what kinda levels you make while "Loopy" hehehe

Get well soon, Loirae!
And if it doesn't interfer with you getting well and following doc's orders, can you make at least one level while being in that loopy state?

Loirae these were wonderful WA levels, looking forward to some more. This is the only one I had any trouble with and then the dang furball got poor Stinky trapped and he had to start over again. Really looking forward to some more.
I hope the ankle gets to feeling better. I've sure been there a time or two. Got plenty of pain killers if ya need one. I have a bad back so my doc keeps me supplied. I won't take anything stronger than darvocet though, I hate felling loopy and out of it. Take care and thanks again for the fun you provided with this series of levels.
