I'm sure someone already posted it but I can't seem to find it. I really need some help with descent. Anyone please. HELP!!!

Hello, and welcome on this board,
Got stuck only in Descent?
There are no topics on that level yet.
But I need more details where you are stuck.
There are 4 floors in this level.
Can't you see a thing in that darkness?
Are you stuck in the first maze?
Or in the second? That's where the cages are and the gem too.

I didn't see any level solutions on there. This is the only level I am having difficulty with. Someone please help.

I'll guide you thru this level from the start. But I put everything in a spoiler. Nearly all the text comes from the solution on Mette's website.
First you only pick up the coin and go to the ladder.
Then the 2 fireflowers. Avoid them. In the north behind 2 pilars are 2 coins.
Then run for the ladder.
It's getting darker now. But not all dark. Without a lamp, you can still see.
Go left to bottom corner. There is the blink gloves. Now blink to the right and then up to the left.
So avoiding the shots from the fireflower and the chomper.
I'll guess till now you can make it without my help. But then, the first one in the dark.
See picture: from entrance go to 'X' stay there till the spike has passed from the right. Then go down, go right, go down, go left and up to the ladder.For next and last level see next post cos I only can post 1 picture per reply.

I've copied the text from the solution you should have found on Mette's website.
Again this is a spoiler.
Next descent.
This is a maze, with a chomper in it!!
To get out of the maze you need to go round to your right or left to the gap at the top.
Then to your right or left to the gap at the bottom.
The chomper will be coming for you at this point so wait for him to get near you and then go the other way round.
Once out of the gap at the bottom go left, up, right, up and left until you get to the cages!!
Here you need to be very careful or you will be caged.
Go diagonally down/left past the first cage.
Down two steps and diagonally down/right past the second cage.
Diagonally down/left past the third cage - by now the chomper should have been caged at the top.
Down two steps and diagonally down/right past the fourth cage. Then diagonally down/left past the fifth cage.
Wait until the flames die down and cross to the gem.
