WOO HOO I am the first to post on a Magic Mark level!
Spent a looooong time on this one today Mark - but it was certainly worth it! Excellent level - I loved that first room - you really have a knack of completely confoozling us with only two objects in a small square room - fascinating stuff!

Some dangy dangerous hot diggity dawg jumping in places and fast fingers needed with the sphere

Many restarts later - I got 'er done!
You are so clever!
Thanks so much for making this level for me - loved it!

Wow -- this level is a doozy.
Haven't completed it yet -- but it's brilliant.

I got caught flat-footed a few times until I realized where not to step and then I was hit by cannon fire trying to scurry back into position!
A lot going on in here
A nice tribute and good fun to work through, thanks Marcus!

Oh Mother of all Stinkers... but finally, after so many canon-accidents, I got through and won a well-deserved gold coin.

Mark - this is another mind bender which I am nowhere near solving.
I managed to cover the red button and extract a sticky cube from the left room but then I can't manoeuver it along to the right because I've used 2 steps on the bridge tile.
All the usual suspects are so clever to get this done! I'm in awe of you all.

Well, I've made it to the sphere/boulder but now a little stumped.

I'll keep trying, though.
For Liz:
Find another way of maneuvering the barrel to the water.

Here are the opening dance steps:
Step up and push the Cannon down one tile.
Step left, cross the break tile and push the barrel down one tile.
Enter the left TP at 12:00, then enter the right TP at 12:00.
This will take you to the other side of the barrel.
Circle around the barrel and push it left and up into the left TP.
Bounce right and push barrel left into the water.
Cross over the barrel bridge and step into the left TP at 3:00.
Jump left and then up to land on the green button.
Trampoline the cannon down onto the red button.
Enter the Goobie room and slide the west goo either up or down.
Slide the east goo right one tile past the left TP.
Enter left TP at 6:00. Cross left over the barrel bridge and enter
left TP at 3:00 to jump left and then down.
Quickly trampoline cannon up and slide goo right.
Cross barrel bridge and push cannon up on the green button.
Walk right and collect coin on the white button.
Use the barrel bridge to trampoline the goo up.
Push the Goo up against the cannon and cross the break tile to slide the goo right on the white button.

I figured out the whole first dance on my own and was excited to think I'd finish this level on my own, but can't figure out the sphere? to the pink timer button room. I keep ending up with the sphere against the goob cube in the white button room and no way to push it out of there?

You are on the right path.
Here's the next dance step...
Circle around, push goob cube right and sphere down. Watch what happens below...

I'm still stuck. The sphere ends up stuck between the yellow gate and button and the boulder is at the pink gate.
Did you mean a different right?

Hi gr8places -- if only you would have used the
pink timer.

Run to it and use it yourself.

I've been trying that running business and I'm just not fast enough!
Plus my arthritis is playing up
EDIT: Got my trainers on now and made it to the pink button in time.
Still doesn't mean I've solved the level yet ...

Here is the next dance step:
Push the goobie right and roll the sphere down.
Run left, step on the pink timer, then run right to push goobie up.
The boulder will destroy the box between the two gates and boomerang back to the yellow button.
The sphere will stop on the white button.
Now you can now roll the sphere left for the pink timer.

I did it! I did it! I did it!.... it wasn't very pretty BUT I DID IT!!!!!
Though it takes me days and nights of dreaming of the solution, I'm starting to be able to maneuver thru Mark levels. Does this mean I'm turning into a stinker?
Great tribute & thanks for another chaotic conundrum!

I had tried all that running before and either didn't get the gate open or got blown up, so I thought that wasn't the right move.
Lot's more practice to get the fingers moving fast enough and had to learn the right dance steps around the yellow button, but finally finished with the gold.
Thanks Mark and everyone else for helping!

At last I did it!
What a fantastically devious puzzle Mark. Quick reflexes and good timing needed throughout.
Excellent fun! A mini-masterpiece.

Devious is right! Whoa baby. Very fun and awesome use of items. I loved it. Of course I couldn't do it on my own. I finally had to come here and read a few spoilers. Wow was I doing that first part wrong
You are one of many

masters of misdirection Mark.
Great fun!

I know this is a slightly older level, but when you finish a Mark level, it's worth commenting on!
Anyhoo, Kiki is right on with how this looks deceptively simple; those seem to be the hardest ones!

I worked my way here and there, and earned that elusive gold star!
Thanks, Sir!
