How do I open that door!?

I have the full version now.
At the moment, I am trying to get past a blue gate (the screenshot below shows which one).
I have done all the levels I could find at foggy peak, and searched and searched, but
haven't found any blue key (though in Wondertown, I did find a hidden diagonal pink/purple
button.). Where must I go?

There is another star a bit to the left. Once you get the Blue Shard in there, you can go behind the blue gate.

Now I won't be worrying about that blue gate.
My problem actually is that I don't have enough clues to know exactly what the colour order is in the "Blue Shard" adventure. I don''t know where else to search
to find more clues. I've searched to the east of the stinker that taught me how to use
"Brr" all the way to the end.
Where else must I search?

This is what it says on the website.
MS wrote:You should now have enough clues to figure out the possible options for the blue shard combination lock. If you're having difficulties deciphering the combination, highlight the following line with your mouse to read the combination:
--> Red,Green,Purple,Yellow,Orange,Blue,Indigo <--
Wait a second after stepping on each button and be sure not to confuse Blue (light blue) and Indigo (dark blue).

All the clues are behind the signs in the Brrrrr area - you must open all the gates to get all the clues!
Hope that helps

All the clues that I've found:
- Yellow comes right before Orange.
- Yellow is the same distance away from Green than from Blue.
- Green comes before Indigo.
- Green comes before Purple.
- Green is two steps away from Yellow.
It doesn't even mention Red!

You're only missing one clue, which says to use each colour once. Red is never mentioned but you should be able to figure out where it goes from the other clues.
slight spoiler wrote:Actually, you got one wrong, it should say green is two spots before yellow.
And it should say purple does not precede green, indicating that something should precede green. Perhaps red?

Like it says on Mette's site:
There are two possibilities.

As the final result on solving the puzzle with all the clues, you have 2 possible combinations. So you have to pick one and try it out. Is it not the right one? Then choose the other!

I can do it now!
More possibilities

I cannot see a way to eliminate any of the following sequences, even given all of the clues:
GRYOBIP
GRYOBPI
GIYOBRP
GIYOBPR
GPYOBRI
GPYOBIR
RGIYOBP
RGPYOBI
I think these are all. The last two are the ones listed on Mette's website as the only possibilites. Am I missing something really obvious that allows you to eliminate it down to those two?

Yes, although it is a shot in the dark.
One of the clues is 'Purple does not precede green'. I took this to mean that something
does precede green, and there is only one possibility for that colour. The one that wasn't mentioned in any of the clues.
That leaves you with just two possible combinations.
But then you only have 8 possible combinations in your list, so it wouldn't be hard to try them all. Maybe I just got lucky.
