Quite easy, but those elusive buttons had me going in circles.

Hmmm am I doing the same level as you guys? I got that opening move after about 3 restarts BUT......messing with those buttons and getting that bot where I want him is making me nuts. When I finally got him to push what I wanted and leave alone what I didn't want I realized that I can't get the water coins 
Help please?
