Hello Everybody,

As many of you are aware, our website, e-mail, and forums have been out of service for a week now. I'm sorry for the length of the outage. The server went down the same day as I had a difficult personal loss, and as a result I was not even aware of the outage until just now.

I will be away from my computer again for some time, and I can only hope that things will work smoothly again from here on. If they do not, and the system goes down again, it might again be out for a few days. Once I'm back for good, I will look into fail-safe option to prevent this from happening again.

Patrick, as we get older we find that those we thought of as invincible, we were young, are not. Over the past 14 months I have lost a mother and a good friend and members of my family live daily with CF and breast cancer. And I know that I am not a solitary case. I strongly suspect that just about everyone on this forum has had to deal with similar issues.

I offer my sincere condolences to you and your family.

I very much appreciate the time and effort that you put in to make this odd little Wonderland forum work. For what it's worth...everyone I was in touch with were more worried about you than the forum, and we remain that way.

Dear Patrick,

I will never forget the compassion you gave when we lost Kym, it seemed so very personal at the time and I had the strangest feeling you knew exactly what was facing your family.
In your last letter a couple of weeks ago, there was another comment made that brought these thoughts to the fore once more.

Please accept condolences from myself, Pam and her family, our hearts go out to you.

A lot of people have been searching for answers and it's been very frustrating, as someone already said, the concern was for you rather than the forum.
From a tiny group of members, you have built this forum to 2000+ and I would say there's a joining of hands to wish you and yours every comfort we can muster.
