After the Red Shard

I earned the
Red Shard.But I don't know what to do next. I tried to get keys,but that did not work.Can somebody please help me?
Because I've been stuck on this for more than an hour.I'll be glad to see replies.

East of the Market Place, where you can enter the Fort in the north, should be a white gate.
This leads to the rest of the world.
