I also got it done in my third try, but I think such a puzzle should not be left for chacne, but have some question attached to it - some mathematical or logical riddle that once you solve tells you how many steps to go each way.

You know what, Muzo - I just noticed that it worked, I didn't even notice why it did... that all that was there was a simple gate in the middle of the road. Now that I saw it, I could complete this level in 4 seconds.

And that was a very weird mystery.

Hmmm I didn't find this one hard or weird at all. This "trick" has been used before in someone's levels...can't remember who but I know it made me CRAZY when I first played a level with this situation in it.

"Running the Gauntlet" were levels by bordeaux and angelinaus:
