361LIZM - Pirate Quest 5. Getting a Sword.

Now that Loof-Lad has earned some money working for the Voodoo Lady, he can buy his sword.
Yaarrr! 8) <-- Pirate with 2 eye patches!

Using the same model/houses/texture as for PQ2.
Here they are again if you need them.

I just knew that Lillie the Voodoo Queen was bad news! Of course when your title is 'Voodoo Queen' I guess it's not exactly a stretch to realize she won't be in line for a Mother Teresa award.

A fun outing Liz, Loof and the Cap'n had a good time sailing around the harbour but I fear there's dangeous waters ahead for our young swordsmith

Big thanks,

Loved seeing Cap'n Keeks dance his little jig; I hope Lil got some voodoo video of that! Image
Pirate Loof did a great job and the two of them made their escape; he really loves sailing the high seas!

Didn't find a use for the two boxes, so I don't think I did it as intended.

Thanks for another fun adventure Liz!

I'll send you a PM. It's a bit early for posting spoilers :D

It'll take a short while as I haven't made a walkthrough yet.

Loof got the next part of his pirate armament. He owes Cap'n Keeks a barrel of rum for his help.
Fun level, Liz, thanks :D

The Cap'n had to do the jig a fair few times before he had the sense to get out of the way of that cannon ball. And poor Little Looflad was scratching his head for a while as to where to put the boxes, but it wasn't long before they both sailed off into the sunset with all the booty. 8)

I'm really enjoying this series Liz. Can't wait to find out what's in store for the intrepid wannabe pirate. :D

Lots of fun Lizzie - I loved the start - such cool action with the boulder

I got a bit lost with where to put my wood box, but it all became apparent once Captn Peegue was stranded up the swanney without a raft!

I ALT X'd with this just to admire the scenery - looked excellent! 8)

Thanks hon - looking forward to the next! :D

Yes another fun level. Great looking too. I'm not sure I did it as intended either,
didn't need more than one box and had no need to cover the red button
Great stuff! Now I have to go back and figure out quest 4....I'm still so very stuck on that one.

Thanks Lizzie! Can't wait for more.

:D :D :D Took a couple of restarts to turn on the DUH switch and place the boxes in the right area.
The signs cracked me up, That Voodoo Lillie drives a hard bargain

Can't wait for the next installment of the quest, Thanks for the fun Liz. :D :D :D

Cap'n Keeks was so helpful, after I saved him. I'm glad to know I have to watchout for Voodoo Lillie! I wonder will she cause me trouble later on?

I still think I should have got the expensive sword, but on with the adventure! :D

Those 2 pirates exited safely with gold, but what about the sword? they did not take it! the wooden boxes, including the one with the sword (a cheap one anyway) were left on the shore. It was also unclear what was that path with the red gate for.

In any case, great graphics as usual!

Made it through this one using pirate team work! Thanks Liz!

Amnon - you always find elegant ways around things. I went back and found that you can in fact manoeuvre the rafts around so that you don't need to use any boxes at all!

Both you and Robyn found that you didn't need the red button thing either.

Will try harder next time!

The trouble is, if I want the story to move along, I don't have time to tweak the puzzles to perfection. What to do? What to do? :P

Hmm what to do? Don't tweak! I love the way the story flows!!!! And finding alternative ways to do things doesn't mean it's a bad thing. It's a good thing cuz some of us have weird brains...or I should say I have a weird brain. It's just as challenging but different.

I vote for keep the story flowing....I love that part of your quests/series!!!

Captain Keeks & Loof Lad sailed their crafts.
Loof-Lad purchased his sword for the next chapter.
And a shadowy specter pulled some strings in the wings.
Loved the script and the challenge. 8)
Great fun for landlubber's and seafarers! :D
