372LIZM - Pirate Quest 16 The Sunken Temple

Governor Qookie has been kidnapped by the Evil Undead Pegnose Peegue. Loof-Lad has to buy a ship, so he needs loads of loot. Help him in the Sunken Temple me hearties! :D :D

Using the same fab seabed texture and models I used in PQ14.

Loof-Lad now has the money to buy his boat! He was a bit puzzled at the beginning with the red button and all the others, but finally got it down. Nifty! Then had some thinking to do later on, but again he got it. This one was great fun, Thanks Liz! :D :D

Well, look at me....a merperson. That is so nice, I am really honored.

I won't admit to how many times I restarted. Kept trying to get the merperson to move that box. Pirate Loof was having to much fun tramping around the place. Once we got it all figured out I had a real DUH moment with that z-bot, couldn't get it to do what I wanted. (I just hate trying to maneuver those things) Thought I could finish without it but noooo, Loof really needed it's help.

He landed on the idle idol once...well, ya know how that went. Great fun Liz. Pirate loof is again on his way. Thank you

Sure wish Mermonica would get outta the way but she just stood there till I did all the work   At first I tried it without the botty's help too cuz he kept getting deaded    but we finally came to an agreement and all worked out well. Wouldn't ya know it I had to test out those tramps too Image

Enjoyed this one too :D thanks for this ace puzzler. Can't wait to see Loolad's new tug Image

That's 16 for 16. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I can keep up with them in this series as I didn't have the same luck in your last one. I really like this series. Can't wait for the next one.

Another fun addition to the series. I was a bit confused with the first part for a while. But Loof-Lad did a great job and managed to cover all the buttons.
Thanks, Liz :D

:D :D :D Just fabulous design Liz, I love these adventures you cook up for us.
I thought this one was just the right amount of challenge,
I stopped and had a chat with MerMonica for a bit, She stayed out of the way as Looflad did his work. No problem with the bottie, I did forget about the top bottie once, made off with the money to buy that ship.
Thanks so much for your continued efforts to bring us all this cool fun, I hope you go far with this great series. :D :D :D

Loved it Liz...had me going with the three bonus coins for a bit! And poor Loof tangled with Miss Monica more than once...she wasn't very friendly!! Found the z-buddie to be much more cooperative and got out of there with plenty of loot. Thanks for the fun!! :o

I got almost all of it figured out. I swear I have pushed that goobie in every direction and I just can't get that bottie to cooperate  May I have a hint please?

Edit: hehee never mind...two restarts after this post I got it  silly me, didn't think to use the other goobie TOO! DUHHHHH

Great fun Lizzie! Great look too, this is my fave of the series. Thanks sweetie for all of your hard work Image

I'm having trouble with the bottie too, he just doesn't want to play nice. Got everything else figured out pretty quickly once I got the quickstep sorted between the boulders.

Nice to see Mer-Monica down there, although she was rooted to the spot and got in my way a bit. I would have shoved her out of the way but I think she might have had a sting in that fishy tail of hers.

Hints for the bottie:
First manoeuvre the lower left goobie up and into the lower left of the opening in the blue timer corridor. This will block the z-bot's exit and force him to travel up and down the corridor.

Next go back to the z-bot room. When safe, push the goobie 1 space up.
Pause until safe again and push it 1 space left. This deflects the z-bot and he ends up in the corridor you set up earlier.

Finally use the first goobie to complete the waterhole on the left side. The z-bot will still be trapped in the corridor.
If you need more help let me know. :D

Loved the look and design of this one again - truly gorgeous!! The first part had me rather confoozled, but I finally got there! Had a little chinwag with Mermonica (great name by the way for our Monica!) Image

Had no probs with the goobies and botties! Loved the shipwreck - very atmospheric indeedy! 8)

Thanks Lizzie - sooper level as always! :D

I fell for every trick in the book. The beginning was a woozie, boozie, doozie! :? Finally found the way, except for those silly little bonus coins. I'll go back for them later. :D :D
Beautiful puzzle. I just sat there at stared at it for awhile.
Thanks so much. You're brilliant :)

   I've been havin one major 'der' moment over the goobies. I kept thinking if I placed the lefthand one where it needed to be I wouldn't be able to get back round to the bottie. I feel so stooooooopid not seeing the gap. Oh well, I am old ya know.

I was out of town for a few days and was hoping when I got back that there might be a new PQ level! :D

This was loads of fun to work through Lizzie and I hope Loofie has enough coins now to buy a nice, new boat!

Thanks,

I finally have had some time to get back into playing levels.

I thought I was short a few items for all those buttons, but then saw there had to be a reason for those boulders. Got through that, then had the same problems with the zbot as others, mostly I wasn't multi-tasking! :D

Off to look at ships! Thanks!

I'm just like Lisa, finally had the time to figure this one out... and it was a woozie doozie :? :?
Brilliant level, the scenery was lovely bubbely. While Mermonica was a real beauty, she was lazy & selfish ... she kept 3 of me bonus coins  (could use a bit of a hit on how to get those please)

Loof lad is off to buy a boat, see ya on the sea's Image

Here's a full walkthrough for anyone who wants it:

372LIZM – PQ16 The Sunken Temple

Walkthrough

1. Ride transporter left, up, right, and walk up. Stand below left conveyor. Push up when they are stopped, and push up again when stopped. The first boulder covers the cyan button, and the second is for the pink button when ready.
2. Go to the left bonus coin and break the bridge tile. Then tramp right, right, down – and you are automatically sent left over the last tramp.
3. Push lower boulder right and up over tramp onto the pink button. Now the shadow figure is free. Walk all the way left, then all the way right again. Then step back to the right and walk all the way round and round MerMonica and the box until all the coins in the top section have been collected.
4. Push the box into the water below the red button. Step on and off the button to kill the z-bot so that the conveyors are working permanently. Now tramp right, right, down, and you automatically jump to the bonus coins on the left. Collect them and go back down to the transporter. Ride round to collect the remaining coins and tramp over the wall.
5. Walk past the z-bot up and round to the left corridor (collecting the coin from the blue timer corridor on the way). Tramp right over the goobie and push it left over the tramp. Now step down onto the bridge tile, tramp left, step right onto conveyor button and push the goobie upwards to the first space above the wall opening, and in line with the wall.
6. Walk back the way you came to the z-bot room. When safe, walk down the left side of the goobie and push it 1 space up onto the pink coral tile. Wait until the z-bot has passed, step to the right side of the goobie and push it 1 left. The z-bot is now deflected into the timer corridor.
7. When safe, push the goobie by the timer corridor 1 space left. Walk round and push it up to complete the bridge. Push the barrel into the water. Go through the gate and collect the last coins, pushing the top barrel back to access the exit. Exit.

It seems there's no limit to how stupid a person can feel. Now I got the proof firsthand. Jeeeezzzz! All the while I'm thinking: How can I possibly cover 3 buttons with 1 box?

Great level, Liz!! :D :D :D :D :D

...and those FishModels must be the best we've ever seen... 8) 8)
