383LIZM - Pirate Quest 27 Lemon Island
Lemon-squeezy or not? If you get stuck just call for lemonade.
Using all the same models, houses, texture as PQ26.

Yaaarrr! I'm first to post
Brilliant puzzling. Loof-Lad convinced the lemonheads to keep him alive. They even gave him all their coins
Needed a lot of tries to set things up right.
Tricky and fun challenge. Thanks, Liz

Ooer! I'm well and truly stuck on this one.
Figured out the tramps and most of the buttons but those gold nuggets are defeating me, I can't seem to get them both to do what I want. That little critter is driving me nuts too. I know where I want him but he keeps evading capture.
I'll let you know if I ever get to the end of it. I will keep trying though, they won't make a lemon out of me.

Yes, those two rolling lemons were causing much aggravation for poor Loofie but with some forethought and some luck he got them into their appropriate positions!
A very tricky challenge Lemony-Liz

big thanks!

Wasn't there a band called the lemonheads at one time?
Loved the level. LoofLad had to get up close and personal almost with his little helper to get him to do his bidding. Got all my jumps on the first try, shocker for me. Enjoyed the clown joke, too funny. So are we to assume LoofLad is headed off to banana island now? My fruits will never look the same to me.
Enjoyed this one also Liz. Keep 'em coming.

Like Popo, I can't seem to get the critter to do my bidding. Still working on it though!
Love the lemonheads! Growing up there was a candy called lemonheads. Like lemon drops but smaller, with some sort of coating on them. Wonder if they still make them. Would love some right about now...

Well Liz, all I can say is that's 10 hours of my life I can't get back!

This level went "sour" on me right from the start

.
It took me forever to try and outrun that little fanged lemonhead...I got chomped many a time. Then on to the giant rolling gumdrops that bowled me over and went everywhere but where they needed to be. When I finally go it all together and thought it was smooth sailing, I got another little surprise. So I will go and nurse my wounds and wait anxiously for the next adventure. Awesome level mate!
P.S. Yes, Sue they still make lemonheads (in the States, I saw them in July when I was down there)

We don't have lemonheads in the UK, but we do have sherbert lemons. They have a lemon-shaped outer shell with sherbert filling. Yum!
And yes Monica, there is a group called the Lemonheads
http://www.thelemonheads.net/
For those of you having trouble with the chomper at the start:
Step right to lure him down as far as possible, then leg it really fast, pushing the box up and into the water and running right and down round the pebbles to keep the chomper in the first area. Use him to keep the gates open whilst you lob the box over the trampoline and collect the coins.
Now walk up to the entrance. As soon as the chomp starts to follow, run really fast back down again and push the yellow sphere left. Wait at the lower gate until the sphere opens it and run through and over the tramp. If you were fast enough the chomper goes onto the red button where he belongs.
Anyone needing help with the spheres, let me know and I'll PM you.

Yup, I thought there was a group called lemonheads out of London.
I've seen lemonheads candy here in the stores. The ones in the UK with sherbert sound really delicious.
I sort of gave a hint on that chomp, said I had to get up close and personal with him. Little stinker.

Believe it or not, there is another way to do the first part, but your way is much easier Liz. I always find the roundabout way it seems!!

Boy, that part with the biting lemonhead sure was easy when I read how to do it! I had been racing that little guy all over creation then trying to hotfoot it back to the gates.
Everything else fits together beautifully, but I still must be doing something wrong because I can't keep the yellow gate open. I've rolled those big lemon drops every which way trying to give me a shot at the button. Just can't seem to do it yet, without messing up the cyan timer. Must be missing something pretty logical.

By Golly, that was fun! Luckily, the Lemonheads were full and didn't want to eat Loof-Lad. It took me several restarts to work out each part, but finally put it all together in the right order with something for every button. Loof-Lad is now looking forward to the Banana Islands!
Thanks for loads of fun, Liz!

Lemonheads are smarter than Bananaheads? I giggled hard at that one! Wonder what the Bananaheads think of that
This was great fun Lizzie...I had to look at your chomper spoiler cuz I kept wrecking my box

Once I got that all figured out it was just a few restarts to Gold! I didn't use the cube for anything but covering one of the buttons, hope that's right.
Great look and great puzzle Lizzie, thanks!

It's the weekend!!! Pirate Time. Woohoo!
Like others, the crunchy lemon was always in my way the first few times. I kept luring him to the path of the lemonballs, and squahing him. Finally got to the end and went, "WHAT?? There's another gate??? So back to the beginning to find where the button was (I didn't see it behind that wall.

)and made off for the next island.
Excellent level! And I'm pretty sure I did it just like planned since everything had a place.

Golly - I found this one very hard indeedy! What goes where????
Finally worked out the order - I was having trouble getting my cube up on the green button without setting the chomper free again - DON'T ASK!

Finally worked out that the green didn't need to be covered for the ending OR by the ice cube and made it to the coolio pineapple island!
Loved the Lemonheads - too cute!
Excellent design and a real thinker stinker level - brilliant once again - thanks!

This was much easier for me than Pineapple Island. Very creative trampoline jumping. Thankfully, the Lemonheads let me go!
Thanks!
