392LIZM - Pirate Quest 36 Pegnose Peegue's HQ

At last Loof-Lad has reached the Headquarters of Pegnose Peegue.
It's pretty dangerous, but hopefully not as difficult as some of the others.

Using my volcanic texture used in PQ35. Have fun!

EDIT: The first 16 who downloaded will find they can exit without all the coins. Fixed that with some exit gates.

Pegnose certainly has some very bad types guarding his headquarters!

Those two by the pink goobers were particularly troublesome

I agree, Bob. In fact, I can't get them to cooperate with me at all. I can't get past them.. Well, what else is new

I got past those dudes but not in the right way. I couldn't get the coin in the corner goobie. I'm sure it has something to do with the barrels or them blasting each other but I bounced on out anyway.

I have to go back and see if I can get that last coin in the goobie!

Robyn - thanks for pointing out that you can exit without all the coins. I've fixed that now by adding some exit gates.


I'm not helping yet. Maybe in a day or two if people are still stuck.

WHOOPEE, I got it! Liz, that was sneaky! I tried what I thought was every possible combination and lost every time. Tried one more thing and there it was! What a challenge! Great fun, Thanks Liz!

Ooer. Haven't done 35 yet and here's another one. Haven't had time to play games, been busy doing all the holiday washing. Better get my derierre into gear hadn't I.

Slow down a bit Liz, while I get caught up.

Hi All

This is how I do the pink goobie section. I expect there are many other ways.

1 Do not step on the white button when you first pass by.
2. Push first goobie right and then up to the white gates.
3. Tramp to pink button and step up, right, up. Tramp left over the barrel and walk very quickly up as far as you can, which makes the right side red dude push the goobie down and he gets blown up in the process.
4. Push the steel box in the lava and go get the other steel box from the left room to complete the bridge.
5. Tramp to pink button again and step right, down, left and up, pushing the barrel and placing it to the left of the corner pink goobie.
6. Now go back and step on the white button. Walk back right so you can see the dude. Make him step right, down, right (by stepping left, up, left). He blows the barrel and the pink goobie so you can get that coin.
7. Tramp the remaining goobie onto the pink button.

Ah haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

You had me on those angry red dudes, they just didn't want to give up thier prize. And then the bonus area, thought I'd have to leave one behind but I didn't I really enjoyed "fighting' my way thru this level, thanks

Hmmm, thought fer sure I had posted on this earlier. Nevertheless, regardless of the dreaded red dudes, I managed this one without help. Unbelievable! Thans Lizzie!

I must be the only one that cannot make it out of the top part without getting killed. I quit killing the red dudes since I figured I needed the lefty to roll the red sphere for me, but since it took me tramping my stinker over to the righty side, I'm stuck cause he shoots Looflad when he tries to make his escape. So maybe I'm not doing something right. I figured out how to get the coins where the cannons are though. I've done some tramping here and there. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Please

I loved this from start to finish, The sticky cubes were quite sticky, Brilliant puzzle there, The timing for the bonus coins was fun to work out. Thanks for this one Liz.

Here's a complete walkthrough folks!

Loof walks up to the red gate and back down to the boxes. The red dudes shoot. Step on down just before the last 2 boxes are shot, and they shoot eachother.

Now see screenshots.

After the screenshot bit, avoid cannon fire and walk up to lava transporter. Ride round to red TP, go through and back to get bonus coin. Jump down, right, up to exit. You won't get shot!

I completed this last night Lizzie after a couple of days trying - just seen all your spoilers! I could have done with that yesterday!

Loved everything about this one - the barrel room was ingenious - you are really good with the Shadow Doodes - I am rubbish at including them in my levels - cudos to you!

The timing for the cannon room was I just read that Keek's enjoyed that part - "morning nutter"

The double dutch jump backwards to do the red sphere is the only jump I didn't try. This was a lot of fun Liz once I seen the error of my ways. Can't wait to see what more you have in store for Looflad........
