Silly question

I'm not sure if this is where to put this but here goes.....
I've noticed that some folks say that they download levels from Mette's site. By doing that some say they've missed levels etc.
What is the benefit of downloading at Mette's site vs. downloading them here? Mette has an awesome site, don't get me wrong. I find stuff there all the time, but, I download levels from here cuz I check this thread all the time for new stuff.
I'm confoozled I guess

I only do it in case I miss a level. Sometimes someone will revise a level and I don't catch it and I have actually missed a post of a level. I get busy around home and the new level gets pushed down the page and I don't see it. I don't mark my posts read or whatever. Sometimes I quit watching levels as time goes by, otherwise I'd be reading email all day instead of playing Wonderland.
On the kids levels I don't download them all for various reasons since some are just plain silly but I play them if I'm bored. I do have my fav level makers.
It's usually only about 2 or 3 levels, this is the first time in a few months I've missed some. I used to wait till they were posted on her site but felt like I was missing out.
Then there are a few who will post a level then another level or a whole series in the same post that I might miss.
I'll be out of town for a month so I rely on Mette's site when I get back.
It's sort of a safety net.
Does this satisfy your curiosity..........It'll be OK....I promise

Ah ok that makes sense! I just thought maybe I was missing stuff by not using Mette's site all the time instead of just some of the time.
Yikes! Can't miss a level!!!!!
Thanks M

Scenario One:
EEEKKKKKK, my computer has crashed, my hard drive is fried. Thank goodness Mette has her site and I can go download levels, models, and what ever, all at once, instead of searching through 5 years worth of stuff on the forum. (Yep, happened to me.

)
Scenario Two:
Hi I'm a new Wonderlander. This is a very intriguing game.
Has anyone been kind enough to set up, maintain and update a website that will let me download to my hearts desire? Kind enough to give me lots of info on this game? Kind enough to supply hints, clues, solutions?
There is? Well that's marvelous! Isn't she wonderful!
Scenario Three:
We go there just to see how organized she is.

Yep, I fit all three of those scenerio's.
Another one ---if you get a virus thanks to your teenage son who's mad because you blocked him from a few sites. I been there. Thought he was smart. He's fixed it so I'd have to re-install everything. Thank goodness he's grown up now and has his own laptop.
Do you realize all those folders on my hard drive are close to 400 MB? That's why every once in awhile I back up my player file. I'd hate to lose that info and I can't stress it enough for others to do it.
That is nice of Mette to go to all that trouble though.
I'm really sickeningly organized!
me too, drives my husband nuts, he's a bonafide slob, opposites do attract

Yanno....I really should back some stuff up. It's been MONTHS! I just noticed that I have gotten over the 1000 mark in custom levels and I'd really hate to have to go back and do those all over again!

I'm always happy to hear that my site comes in handy

Thanks for the kind words
Robyn,
The reason for my site is exactly what Janet said (well.....except reason #3

). It was never meant to be a place to download everyhting from at a daily basis since I only update once a month.
Monica,
I'm impressed

Way to go
Best,
Mette
