394LIZM - Pirate Quest 38 Bilge Rat



Ahoy there me hearties. I been marooned a long time on one of me own desert islands, but Lillie the Voodoo Lady sent a life raft and as if by magic I found me way back to Wonderland. Yaaarrr!! Haaarrr!

Cast yer minds back to the dreadful predicament of our hero Loof-Lad. Stowed away on the evil undead Pegnose Peegue's ship. Qookie is still hypnotized. Loof-Lad must hide until they land. Then he may be able to do something. Here he is hiding in the bilges.

This level uses my ship texture used often before.

Please excuse any shortcomings - I'm out of practice.

WHAT AN AWESOME LEVEL! It took a few times to figure out how to NOT land on that one barrel! And a few more times to learn not to be so anxious to get rid of my buddy!

So HAPPY you are back and have found your mojo (or was that Bob who sent the mojo through his level?) This was so much fun to figure out. Took me an hour to restart 777 times and figure it out, piece by piece by piece... But I finally cooked that nasty bilge rat and fed it to the crew for the post-Thanksgiving meal. (ofcourse I didn't eat any, cuz I hat rats!)

Don't know if I've lost my touch or what, but I'm clueless on how to get any further than just pushing a couple of cannons about. Got the boomer out of his room, but don't know why. Don't know how to get onto the red button. Completely brain dead.

Great fun Liz, I wouldn't say you lost your touch at all, Excellent puzzles with everything having a use.

Thanks for the kind welcome back everyone. I've missed you all too.

Here are some hints for the first cannon bit:

Push south cannon down to red gate. Step on ice curve and tramp to coin on green button. Push east cannon down. Push north cannon and sphere left. The sphere bounces back to land on the green button. Push west cannon left, smashing the boxes. Push it round the ice curve next to the other cannon to make a block for your trampoline jumps to the red button.

If ya need more help, send flag messages.

Yes, did it! Not because of the hints though, coz I had already been doing that. Chris had to remind me to keep boinging one way. I can't believe I needed reminding ...... well I can actually because I am really, really old.

After doing a few more things wrong I finally got me bbq'd rat for dinner.

Ooo arrr .. been tinkering with PQ for a while now - got hooked on this one and cracked it after just a few attempts. Quirky fun Mrs M !

I was really surprised to see a pirate level, I've been checking every day since you disappeared, so I was happy to know you were back and so unhappy because I didn't have time to play. I only had a few minutes snatched here and there.

This was fun figuring out. I kept forgetting to save the rat, which Loof-Lad said tasted just like chicken...........

Loved the puzzle; got the first part straight away but the metal boxes for some reason had me confuzzled for a bit. Had to take a break and go back to it later and it was a clear as day what needed to be done. Thanks much!!

Hey Mizz Mojo - wonderful level! Like everyone else I had the hardest time with the metal treasure chests at the end! Finally found my brain and departed with the loot! Arrrrggghhhh!
