MOFI - Floing Training 101

I can't find a thread for this level...it's not covered in Floing Mastery Class'.
It's the very first Floing level....I have gotten past the red gates, am now at the bottom with the spikeys and the orange, green and yellow buttons.
How do I get out the yellow gate? Thanks in advance.

Place flo at the buttons as soon as the spikeys have left. In that way the flo lasts longer, but you're still short of time.

I put Flo an all the buttons, but nothing happens.

What do you mean, nothing happenes? Off course you'll have to wait until the very first flo bursts. Is that it?
