It would be very helpful if that could be done in the future (I certainly wouldn't expect people to go through 1000s of posts to re-link their attachments).

Happy Creating!

Probably these textures weren't posted in the "Custom content" subforum, but that's no problem at all. You simply can copy and paste the links to them in your level post.

As you can see there is a link to the topic, and also a link to the texture itself. Using the first link, brings you to the topic, and then you can download the texture. Using the second link you can download the texture directly; it's just a copy of the download button.

To create a link to a topic, just select, copy and paste, what's in the adressbar on top of your browser. (I suppose most people know) To create a link to a texture itself, rightclick the download button, choose "Copy link / URL" and paste it in your post.

I did post the footprints one in the custom content board. It's here... http://www.pcpuzzle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17544

Generally, the textures (or models) only get posted here if they aren't made for anyone in particular. If they're made to measure, as it were, they get posted by the level creator in the custom levels board along with the level. I don't suppose it matters where it's posted, as long as it doesn't get posted every time it's used, at least by the same person. Links come in very handy then. :D

Thanks Pauline. Bob wanted to use it for his new level ( http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18146 ) but he couldn't find it, using the search function, and neither could I. He also couldn't upload it again, ( http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18145 ) because the attachments-limit was reached.

I agree with you, it doesn't matter if it's posted in the Custom Content subforum, or in the Levels subforum, as long as the texture's name and texture-maker's name are correct spelled in that post, so it can be found with the search function. :D

I changed the links in the post above now.

Hey Pauline,

I use lots of your textures, maybe you could send me a private link whenever you make a new one?

Just kidding! I do use a lot of your textures though, love 'em!

Thanks,
Bob

Of course Mette also keeps a running list of textures that can be downloaded separately.

:D Thanks Monica. I didn't know that. I thought they were just many textures together in one big zip-file.

Both options exist e.g. you can download in bundles or one at a time ;)

I always try to thank the texture-maker and I always go to mette's site for the info. Always!

And this is a perfect oppurtunity to say thank-you again mette for the time and the effort you put in to keep the site updated!

I for one also appreciate your site Mette. There is actually a lot to be had there if a person would just take the time to look. You've put a lot of work into it.
