New Level -- Complications

Long time, no level. I hope I'm getting back in the swing of things -- and I can BET you've never seen *that* move done twice.

Depending on your mindset and how early on you figure out the key moves, it can be either quite simple or very hard. It definitely is a bit more complex than it might appear at first. That's why it's called "Complications".

EDIT: Fixed a very stupid loophole with a quick-and-dirty fix I managed to do in the time I had.
EDIT 2: I've found out that the old fix wasn't quite enough, by being tricky you could still take a shortcut.
EDIT 3: Marinus showed me that it was still possible to take that shortcut, changed to prevent that from happening. Please redownload the "C" version, it made a few changes around the rightmost steel box. No shortcuts now. The old versions are purely for historical purposes.

Aarrrghhh... bloody hell. Let's just say that this level has a stupid, stupid loophole that makes a big chunk of the solution completely skippable...
I don't even have the time to fix it right now. An hour, maybe two hours later, I should have the time, so I will fix it, but for now, I'm just staring at my editor screen, thinking "how did I miss that?!"

EDIT: Somehow fixed it very quickly, reread the first post. Apologies to the first few downloaders -- please redownload the A version.

Um... hello? It's tricky but it shouldn't be THAT hard... anyone? :?

Well, I'm glad you made another level, but I don't see it yet.
The only way I can think to get the coin at the bottom, is either using 2 steelboxes, or find a way to get the travelator somewhere else.

The only way I can think to get the rightmost steelbox is to get the travelator somewhere else.

The problem is: I din't see a way to get the travelator somewhere else then going up and down.

Ugh... I really hate to say this, but there was still a way of using the loophole by being slightly tricky. Please download version "B", this one is a true fix. It doesn't change the intended solution in the slightest, but does remove the loop.

(This is a sign of me getting rusty BTW: from the very start, I needed three (I hope no more will be needed) versions to get it right. It's not visually perfect, but I saved it with a little joke)

After you redownload, read this for a few hints:
The transporter is indeed the most useful object in this level. If only you can understand what to do with the transporter, everything else should just fall into place.

However, to unlock the full potential of the transporter you need to use almost everything in the level that you can find. One object that appears to be almost useless is the trampoline, but it's actually very important.

:D Thanks for that hint. I got it now. Great trick. Thanks! :D

Question: did you have to do that *trick* twice? If not, then the loop still exists.

I just sent you a pm about it.

I don't know if the *trick* you're referring to is the one I used but if so I only needed to use it once (the *trick* that is, not the travelator) I used that a fair bit. :D

Fun level, thanks Muz!

If we are all talking about the same trick then I too only used it once.
Fun level to sort out Muz, thanks! :)

PS - good to see you back and posting a level, keep em coming.

Will someone please tell me the trick? Thanks!

UGH... damn... it... stupid stupid me...

Marinus just told me how to be able to still loophole the level, and this time fixing it seems a lot harder. Don't give up hopes, I'm still trying.

Stay tuned for the "C" version.

EDIT: there it is. Now even after you figured out the trick the first time, you're STILL in a bad situation with that steel box. This time, every single object should be required.

Hmmm... My brain is mush today and I can't figure out what to do... hint?

Reread the hint above, then here's an additional clue:
You have to figure out a way to stop the transporter in mid-flight.
If you're playing the latest version, you have to do it twice, in different ways.

Ok, in the C version I used everything, and sort of similar tricks twice. :D

Good. :D I hope there are no more loops. Well, there's an alternative way to deal with the chomper using Stinky alone, but it's really stupid hard, doesn't do anything big, and it's not worth fixing anyway. I might actually use it in another level.

Wow, this was very hard, but finally both got home safely.
I only played the "C" revision.

Thanks!

Nice Level! Thanks for the challenge!
