New Level -- Working Together

Not too hard, but pretty clever.
Uses a trick which I haven't seen before without a certain "something" which was an instant telltale sign... but it's actually not so new. Will you find it out?

OK, I'm stumped. I have the level figured out from the boulders and red button on. But...I'm confused about how the metal and wooden boxes are supposed to behave. May I have help, please?

Hint: there are two ways out of the first room. Find the other one.

Hey Muz,
Thanks, but I already know about the two ways. I'm struggling with the arrangement of the boxes. Do the metal ones stay together? Either way, I'm not sure how to arrange the wooden boxes to keep the green button covered.

I found ONE way to get the green button covered, but I can't do it becuase I need to keep a box on the blue button for it to work...
I'm stumped too. I thought that I might be able to solve this level, but even though I took a pill to help me concentrate, I can't figure it out...

There's only one way to get the green button covered...
If only you could get one of the two metal boxes away from the wall, everything else would just fall into place!

I guess I need to know that trick you were talking about. I'm assuming that is what's needed here. How about another hint?
[Edit] Par for the course - as soon as I ask for help, I figure it out. I have the metal box things solved now. Onward...

Fun level! what you said in the hint I had found out already myself, but thanks to reading it I found out what to do. Indeed the rest was piece of cake.

I found out yesterday that I needed to manipulate BOTH exits, but it didn't occur to me on how to do it until you mantioned the hint...
I know what to do, but I don't have quick enough fingers.
Maybe next time.
