New Level - Camelback Cutoff

Near where I live there is a road which is used as a shortcut. It has been nicknamed "The Camelback Cutoff". It is shorter than the main road but not fun to drive on.
I named this level after that road.

I have included my cotton texture if you don't already have it.

Thanks to Lizzie for testing

I have received a few pm's on the Camelback Cutoff name.

Yes, the road was named from an old "Leave it to Beaver" TV show.

Those of you old enough might remember the episode.

I own the first season. I love it. You might find some of the shows on the internet, youtube, hulu, wherever.

I'm bringing this back to the top because I'm wondering if anyone has managed to complete this level.

It's a very dangerous level and takes a lot of patience and nerve to get through.

Although I tested it, and tried it on numerous other occasions, I've never managed to make it through the final gates, but I assumed that's because I'm old and have arthritic fingers.

Anyone?

Thanks for moving me back to the top Lizzie.

So far I have only received comments on the name.

I don't know if the level is too easy, too hard or perhaps no one likes this kind of level.

Anyone?

I have tried it over and over but it is too hard for me. I can get half of it but that's all. It is a good level for the well advanced. Thanks Annie

Hey Russ,

The moves are too quick for my fingers, too - that is unless I'm doing the part by the left jump wrong.

Here is the first part that gets you past the red button.

I found it best to work with the reflectors first in case you get killed trying to destroy them.

Start by putting the 2 reflectors on the left into the water to make a bridge.

Next work with the reflectors on the right.
Watching the cannon fire, push the lower reflector right and destroy it. Do the same with the upper reflector. This will make for safer travel.

Go to the left side just above the tramp and watch the cannon below. As soon as the cannon fires, jump down. ASAP move to the electric floor and right onto the center spot.

(You must always watch the cannon fire and prisms when timing your moves.)

Move down, push the barrel up onto red button then left and up onto the ice to destroy.

Move back to the center safe spot then right and up stepping on the square red button.

Thanks for the hint Russ. That's what I was doing except for the 2nd set of reflectors by the cannons. I was only pushing the top one in, to crash it, but not the lower one because every time I tried to do that, it slid right back out and killed me.

Made it through the 2nd part too (after a few restarts).

Nice one! Thank you!

Hi Russ
Made it with your hints, but had to pass a special training for my fingers.
Thanks for this extraordinary challenge. :D

I must have got lucky with this one. I didn't have too many timing issues except with the fianl gate gauntlet, that took a few tries. :D

Fun one, thanks Russ!
