Idea for tentacles

Yes, I've discovered a way to get tentacles in our WAE adventures run in MOFI
1. Delete qmbou2.wdf and qmbou2.wd1 from WAE data/models
2. Rename ufoubdmf.wd1 as qmbou2.wd1 in your WAE data/models
3. Rename the wdf file as well
4. Copy the two renamed files to data/models/trees of WA MOFI demo
5. Replace to all when menu asks you
6. Do a level with the new qmbou2 in WAE. Now you'll see tentacle instead of plant
7. Give an ID for each tentacle separately and place a GC button around it for 4 tiles each direction. In this GC, select cmd2 and Id of tentacle
8.Just before the GC's done earlier, place GC's which will activate the same tentacle
9. In both type of GC's above, set activate ID as PLA
10.Save the level or compile it
11. Copy the level to WA MOFI demo, custom adventures (for easier use)
12. Play it
13. You'll be seeing that if you go near it , it will disappear soon, and go back, it will come back and only player can use general commands

No. That won't work.
1. The editor does not support models that aren't from WA. (except Cbloopy's hacked editor, which doesn't support tentacles either.)
2. Then all trees would look like tentacles, if it DID support the model.

It MIGHT work, but the tentacles would be difficult to set up and would probably kill things when you're too far away. I'd assume that MS had the tentacle wop have a sensor radius that makes it retract or something without the General Commands.

Except for the fact about the models.

It did replace the model in cbloopy's editor and it did work only for plant 2 because it's a wd1 model

What do you mean kill things?

Learn to use copy and paste
You can make more than one wrote bubbles in one post, instead of multiposting.

simple.
You click sumbit instead of writing more, then quickly click "Post reply" again.

"Kill things" in a similar way to a gate rising up onto a Chomper or something that's on top.
And these wouldn't be true tentacles, they would just disappear instead of retract, wouldn't they?

No, Cbloopy's editor does not have support for tentacles, so it will crash when loading models.

No, I saw the tentacle in place of plant2 before my own eyes. I got the model set right for it
