Cannot use any over 255. I think MNIK has used some of the last ones so do like 160 or something, then convert it to hex, and check Kookys music topic to see how to apply it to your level.

Oh, darn. I gotta go rename them.

And I forgot to upload. That will take a few hours considering how laggy my computer is.

Alright. Here they are and the filenames have been switched to 100.ogg, 101.ogg, you get it.

However, I still need the numbers to put in. I know how, but I don't know what. I mean, what numbers to put in the place of the other numbers to use my music.

Actually, you can use anything up to 2,147,483,647 (the maximum value for a 32-bit signed integer). I've tried it, and it worked. The music value in the wlv file is not just that one byte, but also the three bytes just after it, since it's a 32 bit (or 4 byte) integer value. So...

FF 00 00 00 = 255
00 01 00 00 = 256
FF FF FF 7F = 2,147,483,647

Also, my Editor Tools has a Set Custom Music tool, so you don't even have to do any HEX editing or converting a number to hexidecimal if you use it.

Whoa, I never knew that the music's value occupies more than one byte. Silly Midnight Synergy, why did you do that?! (It's handy, though.)

If memory serves, 100 in hexadecimal is 64. However, make sure you put these musics into a level to show what it's like, or chances are no one is going to download them.

EDIT: I just remembered that the ID for the ocean sounds in MOFI is FF FF FF FF. I guess that's why he let us use so many, but the question remains as to why there is so much room for music data in the editor. Oh well, who cares? :P

So if I want to make a level with 100.ogg then I put in 64. But What about 101-110?

And Jafo, I'll download those tools, thanks. :)

If luck and anti-laziness is with me, I hope to make a level for download using all musics there.

Just keep counting in hexadecimal.

It would be like 64-65-66-67-68-69-6A-6B-6C-6D-6E-6F-70-71-etc

and FF FF FF FF = -1

I didn't know that was the ocean sounds. Guess I wasn't paying attention.

Also, just for educational purposes, while FF FF FF 7F is 2,147,483,647, the next number in HEX, 00 00 00 80 is -2147483648. That's its switch over point to negative numbers.

You must have changed the wrong byte.

I used Jafo's Editor Tools and made a level with all the music.

NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE MY MUSIC TO PLAY THIS.

Note that you can only set one music per level. The level you attached was set to 100.ogg, which my son really liked. I can always listen to the others with a media player.

I still haven't asked TheoX for permission to use Awkward Conversations in my music pack when I get one more song to release a five-track version one.

DP.

I'm gonna work on Version 2 for a bit. Here is what will(hopefully) be included:

*Some more Video-game-ish music.

*Another Underwater Tune.

*A couple of Beach Tunes.

*Another Jungle Tune.

*A happy tune.

*Some spookier music.

*a few more boss tunes for simple bosses rather than final bosses.

Please add suggestions.

Alright, I have noticed that my Music pack does not have very many downloads. I have two major reasons for this:

1. I have not used it in any levels
2. It has a giant filesize(59.1 MB  )

I am happy to announce that my next adventure will include a lot of my music. I am also happy to announce that I have downsized the file. The New version contains the 20 best songs from the original 40, and has a filesize of only 36.6 MB. :D

Now you can download the music without having to wait near as long. Expect me to use this music in my future adventures.

NOTE: IF YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED MY MUSIC PACK BEFORE, DELETE WHAT YOU HAVE AND DOWNLOAD THIS, OTHERWISE THINGS WILL GET VERY CONFUSING IN THE MUSIC I USE FOR MY FUTURE LEVELS.

Thank you. :D

CLICK ON ME!

NOTE: SOME OF THE MUSIC IS KINDA QUIET. I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO TURN IT UP ON AUDACITY. IF YOU KNOW HOW, PLEASE TELL ME.

A list of ways the music test still works. (Also, 109 is DK Summit from Mario Kart Wii, I believe.)

Room 1: No problems.
Room 2: Well, the grassland music IS happy.
Room 3: Well, all WA music at the same time IS annoying.
Room 4: Acceptable if you assume that that guy REALLY hates 8-bit.
Room 5: The factory music does have a video game-ish quality.
Room 6: The giant fireflower and locked door greatly contribute to the fittingness of lair music.
Room 7: Even this works. Clearly the guy being creeped out by desert music in a sewer is just paranoia.
Room 8: Well, why can't it be jungle music? Jungles can be close to endings!
Room 9: Well, the guy's all-capital sentence containing the word 'eh' suggests sarcasm, and snowy music is indeed not perfect for a power generator.
Room 10: As I said before, this guy is paranoid. He probably thinks the voice saying "1, 2, 3, 4" is out to get him. To him, it IS scary evil lair music.
Room 11: I shouldn't have to explain how beach music fits a pale yellow area.

Well, I decided that it was time for an update, and I am happy to announce that Version 4 is up! However, in addition to the new tracks(Action, Calm, China, Outer Space, and Soldiers) I have updated tracks 108, 109, and 114 with much better music. Also, I have decided to not tell you where I got these new tracks, because it should lead to some annoyingly fun guessing, and because I am evil.

Is the music pack a random collection or your work?
