I could probably do one this weekend.

A computer on a table. Tower, screen, keyboard, and mouse. Would you like a flat screen or a CRT display?

Do you know how to use custom models?

To learn about custom models, read this thread:

But the easiest way to do it is to use my Editor Tools program. So, hopefully you can get the .NET framework installation figured out to use it.

I recommend doing some simple adventures first before doing advanced things like using custom models.

Aaaah. :lol: that makes more sense.

There should be a file called "Editor Tools Instructions.pdf" in the download zip. Open it up and read, and that should get you going.

Computer and desk:

Unzip the contents of the file and place the "ComputerDesk" folder in your "Custom" folder. Place the WOP in the "Object Presets" folder of your choice. If you want to use editor tools to convert the level, add the following line of data to the "Converter Data.txt" file:

:1:|Custom\ComputerDesk\computerdesk.3ds|!Square|!None|Custom\ComputerDesk\desk.bmp|0.0|0.0|0.0|0.0|0.0|0.0|0.0

The object will appear as a generic square in the editor, but as the computer desk in the player.

Models were pretty easy, they're mostly boxes. There are a lot of good photos out there of computers to use as textures, so it all came together well.

.wd3 is simply Midnight Synergy's extension for a .3ds file. There is really no difference between the two except the name. I just rename the file.

well, as you see, i started making models, i use AC3D, but it gives me a format of ,AC3D and i don't know how rename it as you did.
