I can see where you're going with this, however it is a kids forum as well, no matter how old you are. But I must agree, I think he's overdoing it. It's not as crazy as it was before the mods came along... The off-topic section has really cleared up.

Don't appreciate swearing? I agree, but you're still not in charge - or in any fit position, honestly - to request, let alone demand an entire section be closed.
Besides, the kind of swearing still hanging around without being removed in the Off-Topic area is the same as in some other sections. Do you want those ones to be shut down too?
Your demands aren't just unreasonable, but your basis for them is far too flimsy to ask of such a thing. I suggest you consider your position and your reasoning heavily before requesting such a large change.

I'm sorry, but I facepalm/hoofed pretty badly. You're not really in any position to say this, as neither the "h word" or "d word" are really curses from what I know. I haven't seen MNIK swear, either. I don't support cursing but I didn't see anything wrong. People have acted this way MANY times before and it hasn't turned out well. Please reconsider and come back.

2. Change your signature and/or avatar to something dramatic about leaving.

I've never sworn in my life (never), but leaving the forum because someone swore sounds to me like a silly sausage decision.

Hiding your message to make it more tedious to find won't make people pay more attention to it.
EDIT: It especially helps when said file generates an error the moment one tries to open it.
