Stuck in MOFI

Help, I'm in the mirror room on the hub and can go to the volcano but I need to pick up a key but have no free inventory space and can't get to the kaboom village to buy bigger one. What do I do???

Sadly, looks like you're in one of those "Death in Hub" predicaments. Never thought about this one. But it looks like you're gonna have to load an old save.

Use any fire keys in your inventory to open the fire gates in the volcano. You may need to take several trips to the gates and back to keys, depending on your free inventory space.
However, if you can't pick up any fire keys, then you're probably stuck.
